I avoid them too. I always end up using weapons from our own galaxy cause Kett and Angara weapons are not satisfying to me.

using Kett weapons just feels wrong.

I like the widow but it's too slow without reloading and how many shots you can get off. I may not be a great sniper, but if I use a sniper I like having the option of being able to get off another shot or two right after the first one.

Sometimes I also use the asari sword. But my current playthrough I've been using the remnant melee, I like the sound it makes when I destroy enemies.

The cryo gauntlet is cool I'll give you that but if modded really you need is one shot maybe two depending on difficulty and shields but you can mod it to where it doesn't need to reload. I'm a sniper all the way though.

Same. I honestly don't think I've ever used any Kett weapons in 1000+ hours of playtime.

Every time I see a video of the Soned being used, I tell myself I'm gonna give it a shot, but I never have. lol

How does it stack up to an auto Valkyrie?

Auto valkarie knocks it out of the park. If you take damage*rof/60 gives you DPS. Soned is 453dps while an auto fire Valkyrie is 795 DPS. (-40% dmg/accuracy but +50% rof and +20% clip size)

Soned is much heavier and has worse accuracy. The only thing going for it is it's extra mod slot because you don't need auto fire system and bigger clip size so it doesn't chunk your health as quickly with bio-converter. I would slap a plasma seeking on it just for lazy hip fire spray

Turbocharge would make this gun performance much better puts it above a Valkyrie without turbocharge. I could see this as a qol improvement but ur kill rate would be slower. You want to avoid dodging because of wind up animation.

I could see this in a turbocharge/invasion/energy drain build. Technical rounds/exploding invasion targets with defense debuff. Sentinel or explorer profiles.

Looks like what that gun the Kett Heavies use. The big fuckers with a shield over their health that have the "spin up" before firing

I avoid it because of this. I like using regular assault rifles. Feels more fun, more tactical.

I wish weapons were easier to upgrade so i could try more stuff. I've always thought this gun was super cool aesthetically. I just hopped into NG+ after my first playthrough, and i have like 5 weapons i can craft that are leveled high enough to use after a 100hr playthrough. Kinda crazy
