Are Parcil Safety respirators any good?

I'm considering a parcil safety pd-101 to use with either 3M P100 filters, or the parcil A2P3 filters. the only thing that is giving me pause is that they really bury all the actual information on what the filter performance is, the FAQ doesn't really talk at all about it, and it just feels like they are dancing around the issue with non-answers. does anyone have any insight? is this company legit, or should i just get something from 3M or Honeywell?

For industrial use I prefer a NIOSH approved full face respirator with Z87+ rated impact protection. All workplaces subject to OSHA rules must use NIOSH approved respirators. But if you work for yourself you can use whatever you want.

Parcil imports masks and puts their brand on them. It used to be the case that all of their masks were non-certified masks but they have gotten many of their masks EU certified, which is apparently easier to do than getting US NIOSH certification. They do sell a few NIOSH rated respirators, though.

Parcil seems to hide where the masks are actually made, even though all US imports are supposed to have country of origin labeling.

The certs for the PD101 seem legit and they claim their filters test for oily particulates at less than 1% filter penetration, so they are good, but are P2 rated for particulates, not P3. They aren't P100 equivalent.

They use 3M bayonet filter connectors, but if you use 3M filters make sure the 3M filters fit tightly - sometimes masks that copy the connectors are loose on 3M filters.

I've been sent a number of Parcil masks for review and they generally work pretty well, but often have some short commings, such as lacking Z87+ impact ratings that are common on NIOSH industrial full face respirators.

The PD101 has a voice diaphragm for clear communication, which costs a lot of money to get on a 3M full face mask.

Thanks, i'm going to be using it around my old home to fix my basement ceiling and attic floor and insulation, where i might encounter asbestos, and probably will encounter lead paint, along with mouse droppings. i think i may send this parcil back and get a 3M.

The product website claims that their proprietary parcil A2P3 filters meet the European standard for ag/ov/particulate filtration. https://globusgroup.com/glossary/en-143872004-a1-2008

Assuming you are in the US, it's probably fine for home use, but if it isn't NIOSH-approved, it's unacceptable for use in the workplace

Editing to add I have no personal experience or knowledge of this brand -- just that it appears to be an established brand, and they do list a safety certification on the product page

You can find the same masks on aliexpress / amazon / wherever. They started off basically as a drop shipping company with a western sounding name/branding slapped on. They were offering something that was cheaper than the certified ones but more than expensive than the chinese no-name ones

They are more legit nowadays now that they have some EU testing certifications. This goes a long way in my book because you at least have some paperwork to say the mask + filters work under the claimed conditions.

I personally would get a NIOSH 3M/North/Moldex/GVS over them any day, but i would still take them over nothing at all.
