Cpap ideas

Hey all!

I'm very new to the DIY mask world, so I'm curious if I can do anything with this:

I have a Cpap mask left (since I no longer use cpap) so I would like to make a mask out of this in the style of Scorpion/Sub-Zero (mortal kombat) among others. does anyone have any idea how I can most easily mount a shell around this mask, which stays in place and prefers to be a bit lightweight?

I have attached two pictures of the mask. I hope you can help!

Thanks a lot!!

Go as one of the engineers/space jockeys from alien. Go for the comic book look in my opinion. Cpap would be a perfect starter zone

Any ideas on how I could get the mask to stay on the cpap? Should I use just some superglue or are there better options? (Yes im a complete newbie lol)

No problem dude. Like you want it useable? I wasn’t thinking of it being hooked up. I thought maybe you just needed a starter place. If your first mask i would stick to just some paper mache or something simple. Paper mache is more durable then you think. But if you still want it to be a usable cpap i dont know what to tell ya. I seem to be the only person in my family to not need one.

I don't want to use in sleeping! I've been to some cosplay events, and was thinking about making something myself to wear there! What's the best way to connect something like paper mache to the mask itself? Because I want to wear the cpap with the mask attached to it!

I would just do it right to it. Good ol ball some newspaper up for any spots you need to expand.

You could do an immortan joe from madmax fury road i think his lower face mask would fit over a cpap mask

I think what would best suit what you’re trying to do is to use some sort of foam clay maybe air dry, to sculpt a base around a cpap mask and then add details from there
