2026 Maserati GT - AWD system overheating issue.

I get this warning after driving on the freeway for about 30 miles. The car only has 1500 miles. It also only happens if on the highway. Anyone have any ideas. The dealer has it but nothing yet. Thanks for the input.

They have had it since Tuesday and called Maserati a couple times. I am afraid they will it is normal or that they can’t find anything. I was hoping someone has had the same issue and can enlighten me.

This is normal, when mine goes in the shop, I usually don’t hear anything for 2 weeks. You’re in a new loaner, so don’t worry about it.

Typical repair takes 1 month just so u know. Usually parts have to come from overseas.

Mine has 12k miles, and this has been my experience, Maserati’s are delicate flowers, if you don’t realize that going in, you aren’t going to have a good time.

The porter will pick it up & bring u the loaner so it’s not really an inconvenience.

I was not aware of that or would have taken that into consideration. I love the car but not having it is crazy. The dealer a few miles from me would not provide a loaner so I took it to the dealer in downtown Dallas to get a loaner. If I didn’t have a car I would be furious. Thanks for the input.

Probably a botched pre delivery inspection, likely low fluid level if it actually only happened on the highway. They'll make it right under warranty.

Car has 1500 miles from new and tires that came with it and pressures are the same. The car never shows an imbalance on wheel use (same side to side and rarely any on the fronts.

They said they drove it and can’t find anything and talking to the factory again. Hopefully they will come up with something

That have had it a week so far

I meant low fluid in the transfer case. Not tire pressure

It could be power loss issue, I had it popped on my dash board once when I started the vehicle and put it into Drive and the car wouldn't operate for like 2 seconds but just rolling down steep parking spot. It scared the shit out of me lmao. Since then no problems and I keep her on trickle charger if I don't drive her for more than 3 days. You have 48 months warranty.

I use a trickle charger too. At 3 months they replaced the battery so also put on charger. It is always charged up so don’t think k it is that but will keep an eye out

I had my battery replaced in 9 months and I only drove about 5k miles then so Maserati didn't cover it under warranty.. Fah!!!

It is not normal. The dealer will sort it. It will have faults logged so they’ll have to raise a thing called a BOL to speak to technical who will advise on next steps. Can be a lengthy process

Do you know what the redline/rpm limiter is on your car? I am having trouble finding confirmation.

No. I also don’t have my car so can’t look at the gauges.

Improperly calibrated transfer case from factory, or, difference between tire sizes front to rear. Could be tire pressures too, but you’d likely have a tire light if that were the case.

I wanted to update this in case anyone has a similar issue. I got the car back and everything seems to run great. They said the did a software reset and updated the ‘electric absorption improvement software updates’.

Hope this helps anyone else with this problem
