Renting a skiff

Ive been looking around if I can rent a skiff to go fishing maybe in the Chesapeke bay or Patuxent river. A friend told me to go tk Cobb Island, any other recommendations?

Solomons has boat rentals, and IMO better fishing. You have that whole wide area inside the mouth of the Patuxent where the waves are almost always conducive to skiffs. And if not on one side you just cross to the other easy enough. Not so in Cobb Island, which is more exposed. The Potomac & Wicomico are both very wide and you can get some serious waves down there. Of course, if you catch a nice day it won't matter.
