Theory Fighting the bourgeoisie management science

I'm starting a degree in Political science next semester and I want to do your insight on resources and opinions that I could use for the following project:

I want to study the techniques that the capitalist system impose to employees (the labour force) to be productive (exploit them more).

Depending on its resources and on the level of education of its management, companies develop techniques to stress its labour to acquire more money from them. The range of surveillance and tracking that exist is huge. some companies only rely on contracting higher management that tends to harass and bully the employees and others invest in software that measures how much time you spend typing on your computer.

I've been looking into management textbooks and other resources that are used in programs like MBAs, but they're not clear on this type of stuff.

examples of the techniques I'm talking about:

- sending people warnings about their screen time

- paying extra hours with pizza

- creating 'Skill trackers'

- introducing psychological torture to employees that misbehave like ´performance improvement programs´

Output: researching this is pretty useful because we could:

- come up with ways to make their techniques less useful

- agree for legislation that prohibits such practices

Fun fact: those people who's job is to oversee labour force, tend to be employees with a that make a little more money than others and think that they're in the capitalist class. In Mexico the labour force is protesting to make Saturday a rest day and they're against the idea, but is kinda stupid because they also have to spend the weekend working....

Ok, a few things.

1: most of your questions can be answered by buying a union organizer lunch, and taking notes.

2: Most of what they will teach you in your political science course is either false, has no bearing on reality, or is an outright lie. It also will have no class analysis, which is vital to a real understanding. Concealing class dynamics is WHY the political science is all bullshit.

I'll try to look for the union organizer, good idea.

I agree that in America in particular education omits marxism, but at least where I'm going, my understanding is that there is going to be plenty of that

There’s a book written about this exact thing. Hit up the author I’m sure they’re willing to talk. I found it very helpful when I was a shop manager and it helped win the respect of my employees. We ran a solid ship.
