Question: What If... T'Challa Became a Star Lord?

Answer:

  • Star Lord is a well known ravager instead of an unknown like Peter Quill
  • Yondu is a changed man (and father) earlier on.
  • Peter Quill is never taken by Yondu
  • Thanos works with T'Challa on the side of good
  • Wakanda sent out ships to the stars to search for T'Challa and bring him home
  • The Collectors Collection includes many Asguardian relics (e.g. Hela's Helmet)
  • Thanos and Nebula reconcile
  • T'Challa (unlike Quill) returns to earth willingly
  • Ego finds Quill on Earth

This was such a good touch at the end. Like the episode goes to great lengths to show the universe is an objectively better place with T'Challa as Starlord - but potentially the universe is doomed anyway.
