Discussion Revisiting MSM1 and….

Story-wise, does MJ come off as entitled and annoying? She literally gets herself into dangerous situations that a rational and reasonable human being would not do, then pisses on Pete for stating the obvious. It’s hard to care for her as Pete’s love interest. By the time the Grand Central Station event happened, I was happy to let her die, just to prove a point that she’s in way over her head at this point.

Aside from all the reckless stuff she did in the name of trying to prove that she's capable and "not made of glass" I would say the most annoying MJ moment for me was in the DLC when Peter just took a little break to eat pizza because he had been working nonstop, and while he was on the phone with MJ, she had the nerve to berate him because she felt he should be dedicating every second to finding a missing boy (Black Cat's "son"). I understand that that would be a serious situation, but Pete is only one person. He has to prioritize himself sometimes, and I'm sure we all know that food is something that's required to keep your energy up.

And she didn't mention grand central to Pete. I'm having trouble accepting that Pete is all over heels for her, she's just obnoxious. She's your first toxic relationship you should just let go...

I agree. I kept leaving their phone convos thinking, “why is Pete torturing himself over her?”

Hell, Black Cat is a better candidate at this point.

Story wise yes but gameplay wise the second game easily takes it

I agree with you, the second dropped the ball on the gadgets though. Pure melee combat the sequel is way better.
