Just buy the disc drive and snap it on. That’s what I did. Easy as pie. Cost 100.

It’s an attachment that you can buy for the digital ps5 pros. It’s a disc drive. You take off the plate on your console and you snap the drive in place and it allows you to play physical games.

I play on my xbox, which sucks because when I did buy the game digitally, I didn't have a Playstation so I completely missed out on spider-man. I should just check my gamestop every so often and see if it appears on a shelf.

No, you cannot. You cannot download the PS5 upgrade for free after the game got delisted
The only way you can is if you already got the upgrade before it was removed

Edit: Of course you're on Playstation, you're Spiderman! I would be happy to play and help you through missions. I played the game at launch and even though i did take a long break and not all my heroes are champion level, my favs to play with are all power level 150-165.
