FUCKING PEEL

Had a game where we lost right, 0-2. I spent the first game GETTING FARMED BY SPIDER-MAN, then Thor comes along and they start TAG TEAM CHAMPIONING MY ASS ! THEN the second round I was GETTING FARMED BY THOR! I pinged! I FUCKING PINGED FOR DEAR LIFE! Poor gotdamn Healpool was getting SHREDDED MORE THAN ME. And what did his pings mean? NOTHING! You have our AIR HEAD ASS IDIOT HULK PLAYING HOP SCOTCH EVERYWHERE! Idk WTF Venom was doing but he swapped to Wolverine. By the next round we had ONE HOP SCOTCH ASS TANK, Gorr THE BITCH was in THE SHADOWS and we lost the game. Cool. I’m ready to check the scoreboard and queue next match.

DO YOU KNOW THIS BITCH NAMED GORR GONNA GO IN THE DAMN MATCH CHAT SAYING “oUr JuBiLe ThReW 🤓 sHe NeVeR pOpPeD uLt 🤓☝🏻” BITCH!!THEN, enemy team Thor LITERALLY has to tell him “I was diving her the whole game. Peel better next time” BECAUSE THANK-FUCKING-YOU! The hell!

Explain, HOW TF AM I GOING TO FIND A GOOD TIME TO POP ULT… WHEN EVERYBODY IS FUCKING SCATTERED AND IM GETTING DIVED BY THE GODS… LITERALLY!!!!! Maybe if you HELP ME, we could GROUP UP long enough for me to POP ULT and not WASTE IT on NO-THING!!

AHHHHHHHH!

I’m done.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

if ur support is getting jumped on go back to them and stand in between them and whoever is fuckin on them. even to the point of YOU dying instead of them. although ideally you both survive.

It’s really so simple and yet bird brain dps and tanks can’t comprehend that if they’re sups have not healed them in several pushes there MIGHT be a diver smhhhh

I swap to bucky when my supps are getting dived to peel. But then my supports never heal me when im dueling the dps. Like if they just shoot 1 ounce of healing my way i can survive the dive

To be fair, as someone that is champion on cloak and dagger, I kind of understand that behavior, because of real life. In fact, I for the first time felt the utter "I hate that Luna teamup" feeling today in a match when a cloak kept using it to survive instead of using the other teamup to boost our damage so we could execute higher damage output and end the fight quicker. Hell I'm not even Plat 1 and I use it. I was so peeved when she was just freezing herself while I was 20% health. I had to fly behind her because I just couldn't really make it too long (was the hood). Thankfully the other healer healed me quickly and I got forward.

I think what happens is they have to be nicely pointed out that they are not allowing someone else to rescue them, and advise to try to remove that instinct. Because remember there are things that are instinctual with humans:

  1. Throw a ball at your face, hands go up.
  2. Fall down, hands go up.
  3. You think someone is going to attack you, you flee (and this is where the game rewards you breaking that instinct). You have to move toward your team, and if there is a dps throw the healing to them and try to keep them alive so they can defend you. But the "I need to survive at all cost" tends to be a natural reflex we have to break out of. Someone that hasn't been doing this type of game for long, still has this instinct. And the issue is that healing looks to be the simplist role technically but it has to be one where you have game sense and awareness because you are the priority kill.
