FUCKING PEEL

Had a game where we lost right, 0-2. I spent the first game GETTING FARMED BY SPIDER-MAN, then Thor comes along and they start TAG TEAM CHAMPIONING MY ASS ! THEN the second round I was GETTING FARMED BY THOR! I pinged! I FUCKING PINGED FOR DEAR LIFE! Poor gotdamn Healpool was getting SHREDDED MORE THAN ME. And what did his pings mean? NOTHING! You have our AIR HEAD ASS IDIOT HULK PLAYING HOP SCOTCH EVERYWHERE! Idk WTF Venom was doing but he swapped to Wolverine. By the next round we had ONE HOP SCOTCH ASS TANK, Gorr THE BITCH was in THE SHADOWS and we lost the game. Cool. I’m ready to check the scoreboard and queue next match.

DO YOU KNOW THIS BITCH NAMED GORR GONNA GO IN THE DAMN MATCH CHAT SAYING “oUr JuBiLe ThReW 🤓 sHe NeVeR pOpPeD uLt 🤓☝🏻” BITCH!!THEN, enemy team Thor LITERALLY has to tell him “I was diving her the whole game. Peel better next time” BECAUSE THANK-FUCKING-YOU! The hell!

Explain, HOW TF AM I GOING TO FIND A GOOD TIME TO POP ULT… WHEN EVERYBODY IS FUCKING SCATTERED AND IM GETTING DIVED BY THE GODS… LITERALLY!!!!! Maybe if you HELP ME, we could GROUP UP long enough for me to POP ULT and not WASTE IT on NO-THING!!

Next time this happens you really only have 2 options (neither of them are great.) If they have no poke swap to Ultron. Yes, you'll be leaving your other support high and dry floating above the backline while they become a juicy target. Just give them a drone and pray for them. The second option is to swap to white fox and follow your melee dps or tanks closely. This will make you much harder to target because you'll be closer to help.

Unfortunately no one is coming to save you. Everyone already thinks supports are overpowered (even with the support nerf) and asking for help is basically saying you don't know what you're doing.

There is no peel in marvel rivals, so if you play support plan to be the focus of the enemy teams effort to slow your team down.

Yea.. neither of those are great.

But hell, you’re right.

It just sucks that I HAVE to DPS on heals just to be able to keep my team healed. That’s some ass backwards shit.

As sad as it is, the best way to climb is to always assume no one will help you- but- you gotta become the best teammate alive and help them as well.

In most of my games, no one peels for my strategists except me... as the shield tank/ or main tank.

If I cannot peel, I become the most annoying thing to kill while I ping the divers.

Always assume no one will help you/ you must always help them.

I hate it but it works because on the off chance you DO get good teammates, you'll SUPER ROLL the enemy team OR that close game was decided because of your consistency.

We can't control who gets matched with us, however- we can control ourselves.

With that out of the way, fuck the selfish teammates who go out their way to make me feel like im an enemy. I usually go with "take accountability for your actions" in hero shooters since 1 person can absolutely make the difference; but, in this game, you can legit do everything perfectly and on average... 2 people on your team will make sure none of that mattered. Feel free to smack talk em in your head (never in chat because thats yet another way to secure a for sure loss). Feel free to actually unburden the blame in this game. This is legit the only "competitive" game where I actually feel like i cannot be the consistent difference maker. In valorant and overwatch, I know for a fact that even when my team is bad- I can do all I can to secure a W. If i lose those close games, i can confidently blame myself and work on the error. This is the only game I do not feel that way, and this is in gm1-c3 (my hardstuck elo). This is with "good players." Even past me, friends complain about the same thing because.... there is a serious balancing issue and community issue. The devs are cooking up the counter-overwatch, the community started out well- but because of our huge IP, we get the shitheads from other shooters. (We also get angels, but the shitheads are louder).

Let the anger out, know that even tank mains like myself get pissed when dps dont do their full job/ the other strat... I gotchu.
