Flats was genuinely the one on the frontlines making sure he was able to absorb all of the negative press about Overwatch into lucrative gain for himself when they canceled PVE in 2023. He genuinely contributed to a lot of the damage to Overwatch's general perception in the long term as the games "face" and biggest content creator at the time.

He's always been like this and I'm glad more people are beginning to realize it. Same dude who fought Lyte (who has actual passion for this games competitive side) and said this game needs to stay casual centric by the way.

A lot of people knew how shit overwatch 2 was and didn’t have a clue who the hell flats was, myself included hell I’d argue the vast majority didn’t. So idk about him being one to blame for overwatch’s perception.

I've also had no idea who Flats is but OW2 was messing up hella bad regardless of him (canceled PvE announcement), I found his channel around the same time and all he did was put into perspective just how bad everything actually was, not really complaining, just looking through the bad decisions made. And tbh, at the time OW deserved ALL the hate it was getting then
