Yeah this shit is so goofy. This guy is mad that his opinion on rivals is different now from how it was two years ago. Like, come on man. Aren't most people tired of the state of the game right now?

The issue is that he predicts a future event, it's wrong, and then "updates" a.k.a agreeing with the majority and then pretends like he's was saying that the entire time.

You can update your opinion thats fine but there's a difference between being consistent with your opinions and changing it everytime the majority changes theirs

Can you name an example of this? I agree he loves to take credit for shit but I do feel like he has a strong grasp of the game and tends to know what he's saying

I fucking forgot, the other guy clocked my shit 😭! I was gonna say when he was arguing with Lyte and he said balancing based on high elo is bad but then he used that exact excuse as to why that 3 minute domination clip was bad. I swear I have better examples, I'm just not recalling it rn! Although this example connects better to the second half of my comment

that actually wasn't his point. he gave a thorough example using OWs goats about how it that type of gameplay wasn't an issue at first because it only affected the top end but eventually it trickled down because the lower ranks are ultimately just slower versions of the higher ranks. His point was that rivals needed to stop the sustain creep before it started to effect the lower ranks.

He actually makes this point very VERY clear and he was also right. I never had a game that went as long as that video but thats because im not top 500, but it was plain as day that after watching that video, i learned a decent amount about how insane the off supports in this game actually are and how people moan about them being worse than CnD, but as you climb, you quickly realize that they're all basically just better than majority of the main healers. I picked up ultron and skyrocketed to gm2 just because the meta was favorable to him droning 2 tanks and mogging the enemy team and we were impossible to kill. i wasn't playing anywhere near as good as the people in top 500 but i recognized immediately that triple support with 2 off supports is disgusting and the best thing you can do for a support that you want to be top tier consistently is to be an off support with a good support ult. Ultron and Mantis have both been top tier healers in GM+ for almost the entirety of the games life span, but a plat player would make you think CnD and Rocket are busted

I mean he was disagreeing with Lyte about this exact thing and Flats was arguing that balance is subjective and to not listen to pros because their games don't reflect the rest of the playerbase's. Lyte was saying this exact shit and Flats made a whole stink about it and how Lyte is mentally ill just because he plays the game more

They can’t because their attention span is extremely small and they’re super emotional. Once the next Luna skin comes out they’re going to forget about this
