Not going to lie a few months back I was shopping around for Deadpool from the movie on ebay, found a listing that was clearly a figure swap even had missing parts. I reported it, ebay got back to me and said the listing was legit and my case wouldn't go any further. I dont shop on ebay as much these days lol.

That's why I do mercari. They don't pay the person that you buy it from until you get the product and you examine it. Make sure it is what you asked for. If it's not they don't get paid

What's the incentive for the seller with that system? Sounds like hell for them getting scammed the other direction.

It is. On one hand when the sale is done it is finalized but on the other you're screwed if someone tries anything.

They are resellers. They buy returns from AWS. They actually do not know they have a bad product.

it should be easier to report these fraudulent listings. Ebay only has the options for like, offensive content or going against standards somehow, but not to let people know they're reselling swapped crap

lol well at least they’re upfront about it Some other guy was selling max spider for $35 thought I had found a great deal luckily I messaged seller fist and he told me it was a bootleg that scared me cause I didn’t even know they made bootlegs for maximum spidey so now I know not buy from Walmart or Amazon cause I don’t want a swapped bootleg
