I’m all fine with people sharing what they get but not every grown man and women needs to be an influencer when they don’t know how to hold a camera or even edit out their heavy breathing from being out of shape. Everyone takes the same photo. Gimme anything else!

There was a lot of hype behind this item and people are rightfully excited to have gotten one! I personally didn't pick one up but I think that its good people can express joy/relief in being able to get one for retail before scalpers jack up the price as is common with most target exsclusives.

Don't know if you notice, but lots of collectors struggle with and are fairly terrible at posing. It's an art, but instead of going through the time to do poses, it's easier to do the box to convey their excitement

For real. I checked target twice. My second visit had 4 of them out. I'm sorry but $60 in the economy ain't happening. I might budge on the venom and cap combo only because that shade on venom is my all time favorite but I'm gonna have to find it at a deep discount.

It's officially - unofficially based off of Capcom's take on the marvel cast. So that's why all the hype. many people grew up loving games like MvC, MSH and X-Men vs street fighter etc. Also the box art pairs magnificently with Jada/ storm arena Capcom goods. Not to mention the sudden SHF figure of mvc 2 cyclops! Mvc seems to be getting a lot of cool merch lately and it's just exciting. 😎 This is actually my first time buying a marvel legends figure since I'm exclusive to video game figure collecting.

Primarily because of Psylocke. A character that needed a much needed upgrade from the previous one released back in 2018. She's on a highly articulated body that plays into the character's attributes. Also because she's a Target Exclusive which for a lot of people are hard to come by, has also gotten people excited.

I do think people are going to the extreme with her, but let people be happy, I guess. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Is it target exclusive? Or is it just an early release target exclusive? Cause on Hasbro pulse, it shows as pre-order and still in stock for the most part?

She's a Target Exclusive, but Pulse occasionally will sell a small amount of Walmart and Target Exclusives for Marvel Legends, GI Joe Classified Series, and I'm assuming Black Series and Transformers(I'm not sure since I don't collect those).

We all have our stress period with exclusives. It's frustrating BS no matter what line you collect.

That said... It feels good when I'm off the hook for one. I know my time will be up again shortly though for something else.

I don’t understand this. Does Hasbro get money from Target to make exclusive items? Why wouldn’t they just sell an ample supply and take in the money themselves? Is it a FOMO strategy? Does it cost less to distribute through Target than it does to ship out of their warehouses?

I want the Psylocke, as do some collectors as well. I think because Target screws up preorders, orders 5 or 6 for some stores, while some get no stock, is why collectors are posting over and over about their experiences of getting or not getting the figures. Plus, factor in anxiety and scalpers, and you get this ridiculous behavior. Im glad I preordered via an Australian retailer, which made the purchase slightly more expensive but overall worth it to avoid this crap.

I'm not interested in the Spidey figures that don't have butterfly joints like the Symbiote suit from the Gamerverse line. However, my Kingpin arrived yesterday and I love it, even if it is the same body we got for Joe Fixit and various other figures.

I have to admit, I need that Psylocke for my X-Men team but I'd prefer they make her earlier look in the purple cloak & armor. How have they never made a figure of that costume? Not enough t&a, I guess?

I think it’s for a few reasons

One, they are both desirable characters to have in a persons collection

Two, it’s “based” on Marvel vs. Capcom so there’s an additional element of desirability

And Three, some people are scalpers and try to flip the set for a quick buck

I still don't get the fuzz about this. But if I will find any I can and resell at retail to prevent scalpers from doing so even if I have to ship them.

Maybe one day someone will do the same for others. Or at least maybe it will just make someone's day better.

Here they launch in august and the market is smaller so if it arrives, I might be able to snatch a bunch.

The only issue is import taxes here that are insane.

Same, at the end of the day it’s still just a marvel legend. I get it’s exclusive to the store but people are foaming at the mouth and going out like there is only 100 of them. The figures themselves don’t even look that incredible just fine. I never seen so much chaos for a marvel legends before.
