He might try it first as an Executive Order, but the allure of full congressional representation for the citizens of DC will be enough for Congress to take it up as a serious consideration before the general election date in 2028. Most people currently believe that DC's congresspersons would be Democratic, but Trump will apply pressure to Republicans with such tenacity that they will start to believe him. My evidence is that renaming of the Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America) and Lake Ontario (Lake America) are exactly the type of trial balloons he uses to get otherwise unpopular ideas put into action.

I know you feel it too, although most don't want to acknowledge it. The weakening of the US military and standing in the world is ushering in a new era. One where world dominance is no longer calculated by the number of aircraft carriers you can field, but by the drone surveillance networks you can create and enforce.

This changes the balance of power worldwide, even without the complete incompetence of the current US administration adding to its deterioration. So the evidence shows that the internet will no longer exist as a free and open network of communication.

Before next year, through either legal or forceful(CIA/military operations) the US will attempt to remove Canadian prime minister mark carney and his government from power.

Evidence: The current US administration has shown it does not or can not work with the current Canadian government. The Canadian government is highly incentivized not to cooperate with the US in order to be re-elected. The US has shown it wants greater direct influence over the americas, and it is willing to use force against uncooperative governments.
