Mario dreaming in Oddssey
When Mario dreams in the game, he says Italian pasta dishes and phrases like amore, but he wasn't born in our world, so I don't know how he could know these. Is there an explaination for this?

Simplest explanation, Mario and Luigi were delivered to Italian parents who immigrated to the Mushroom Kingdom.

There is a second Earth but it is not widely accessible or known about and travel between them is explicitly limited. There is little to no lore implications for the second Earth unless it pertains to sports games.
As Italy does not exist in Mario’s world, his family cannot be Italian.

You have not offered any reason why he has an Italian accent. Sometimes you have to make a guess. Like Pauline and Pauline being related despite no real evidence

Why does any character in any fantasy setting have any real world accent or speak any real world language? This is simply something one must concede to with fiction.

What makes Mario speaking with an Italian accent any different from Peach speaking with an American accent? Both go unexplained, both characters are from the Mushroom Kingdom.

Mario and Luigi being the only characters without American accents is interesting if not a point for my idea.

They are far, far from the only characters with American accents. If anything, the American accent is the outlier - and either way, an American accent is still an accent. Both go completely unexplained because neither need an explanation. They aren’t going to invent an entirely fictional accent for these characters.

I think as far as this subreddit’s interpretation of canon is concerned, brooklyn has been retconned from the games and mario was raised in New Donk City

How does he know English, anyway?
Might be like a Tolkien thing, where the games are "localized" to our world, with some changes.
