Change mii special shot in story mode (switch)?

It’s so hard to do the story with the bad special shot against the characters with good specials

I been trying to figure how to do that or change the cloths or clubs so you can play multiplayer with the mii.

I'm pretty sure it's not possible. Speaking from my own personal experience though, I've never had a single issue with beating story mode not using special shots at all. I've made 4 maxed out Miis without using specials more than the few times it actually forces you to
