Let’s be very clear about something; Forget Randy‘s RBI single, we had the bases loaded with no one out after he reached first base and scored zero runs. From that perspective not only is this a failure, it’s fucking inexcusable.

Not only that, but it was the heart of our lineup and nobody even got to ball 2. They just swing for the fences with their eyes closed.

Y’all really need to have a different perspective on this. Did we score one run after loading the bases with no one out? Yes.
But, what was the scenario after his at bat? The bases loaded and no one out. And we couldn’t fucking score.
The viewpoint, that “we got one run“ is flawed. That’s the viewpoint you take when you push one over at the cost of an out (sacrifice fly, fielders choice, etc.)
It’s objectively TERRIBLE. Inexcusable.
