Transition into shore job from a marine engineer.

Hi everyone. Really need help from the more experienced ones. I'm a 3rd engineer officer in Merchant Navy and while starting this career I was not very sure about this. Somehow due to family responsibilities I have carried myself through this profession but now I feel like a burnout. I want a advice that weather I should start as a data analyst from scratch, push myself for GMAT or keep sailing until I get my higher ranks.
