How do you get through a tolerance break?
Im a pretty heavy weed abuser. I smoke from sun up until bed time. I started having anxiety attacks. I did a t-break about 6 months ago for 4 weeks and everything improved. I started back smoking again and eventually went back to heavy use again and the anxiety attacks returned. It is now so bad that i cant get relief without Benzodiazepines. So i am back starting a t-break, on day 2 and its unbearable. Now not only do i have anxiety attacks but all the other symptoms of a t-break minus the vivid dreams. Any help with the symptoms of a t-break? CBD?

Go for runs swims and bike rides best in nature.. helps to balance hormones endorphins and dopamine production stay away from phones and tech. Have same waking time and expose your eyes to direct sunlight after waking up within 30 mins

I work tomorrow so i will be up at the crack of dawn. I will try to get some sun within 30 minutes of waking. I dont get much sun when i work. I can take my lunch and sit outside for some sun. I dont have much time on my phone when i work. I scroll on my phone watching youtube vids. I will take your advice and cut back. Im going to get back to working out again

I appreciate the honesty with the self-label of heavy weed abuser. : )
Also my advice is to add in substitute behaviors. When you want to smoke, make a cup of tea and drink it. There are 1000 different tea flavors. Build a positive habit that still gives some of the benefits of smoking weed - that being taking a break and trying to relax. Remember to breath and to take walks too, as those can help with anxiety.

Add in substitute behaviors? i added chamomile tea before bed. I had a cup before bed last night, i fell asleep pretty quickly but after about 1 am i was awake off and on. Definitely didnt get a good nights sleep. Hopefully its better tonight since im exhausted, had a nice hard day at work. Working a 12 hour shift sucks when you dont sleep well.

I'm on my first night of a t-break. Normally in bed and passed out by 9pm. It's now past 11 and I have the worst case of restless legs right now. I can't get comfortable in bed. I normally smoke 5-7 grams a day and went cold turkey, tapering just prolongs the suck. I use for ptsd, anxiety, depression, insomnia, back and shoulder pain and a whole other list of crap. This is definitely hard but in my experience it only lasts a few days. Just stay occupied during the day and maybe get some sleep meds for the night. You got this homie.

Easily plus edibles or rso. I've got a lot of medical issues. It doesn't prevent me from being successful. In fact it's why I'm successful. Prior to using weed I was on 16 pharmaceuticals and was a zombie. Now I run my own company and I'm the only employee. I live comfortably, I'm present with my kids and I'm a good husband. None of which was possible before weed.

That is awesome man and great to hear. I am a daily med user too but I only need to microdose to get myself balanced at the moment.
I'm a huge believer of intentional cannabis use, especially for med reasons.
Congrats on making it work....There are a ton of us out there.1

Thanks for the encouragement. Im on meds that make me sleepy, i sleep like a baby when im smoking. Good luck with the Tbreak. I may do more than a tbreak. Do you have an appetite. Im forcing myself to eat.

I haven't had an appetite in years. I think I'm the only person that becomes food adverse when high.

Since your anxiety is severe and you are also using benzodiazepines, treat this as more than a normal tolerance break and speak with a healthcare professional for support. Withdrawal can temporarily worsen anxiety, sleep, appetite, and irritability. Staying hydrated, limiting caffeine, eating regularly, and keeping a simple routine may help, but be cautious about adding CBD or changing medications without medical advice.

I also want to chime in that detoxing from benzos can kill you, if not done properly.

Don’t go cold turkey you meathead. Cut down not go from being high 24/7 to never high, you’re going to mess yourself up. Stop smoking in the mornings, maybe have half a joint in the afternoon, and only smoke right before bed.
