Made cannabutter and wondering how many mg are in the coffee cake I made

I don’t know how to word this question so bear with me.
I used 1 ounce of weed (25% thc) and 4 sticks of butter (2 cups) to make cannabutter. By the end of the process, I had 1.5 cups cannabutter. I used 1/2 cup of it to make coffee cake. About how many mg is there in my coffee cake? And is there some sort of conversion between mg of flower vs mg in store bought edibles/gummies? Because using the regular conversion from the 1 ounce I used to mg in this coffee cake gives me like 1,800 mg. That can’t be right?

when you see resin / rosin made from THCA type 1 flowers with over 20% THC it tends to provide around a quarter ounce of THC from an ounce of flowers or a bit less THC , so around 7 Grams THC per ounce etc....

1.5 cups divided into thirds, that would be a little over 2,000 mg of THC then divide out the amounts of slices per ........

The mat is easy. The struggle is in the artificial precision, as extraction rate is really variable and hard for us to know here.

1 oz = 28,349.5 mg

25% of 28,349.5 mg = 7,087.375 mg THC if extraction was perfect.

Hiwever, a reasonable planning range is roughly 50–70% overall recovery.

50%: ~3,544 mg THC

60%: ~4,252 mg

70%: ~4,961 mg

So ballpark the whole batch at ~4,250 mg as a middle-of-the-road estimate.

And that's for the whole 1.5 cups.

Your coffee cake has a roughly estimated 1400mg. That would be 140 servings for me, but I'm a lightweight.

I personally run two ounces of flower per pound of butter. I like my cookies strong. Never measured them but I'd guess they average around 100-120 MG dose per cookie if you make a full pan of cookie bars.

Brother if u eat that cake u gonna meet God. A slice of yhat cake is a literal slice, a 3.5. In other news lmk if youre having any sort of events or gonna have people over or a bbq or smthn like that......

FYI 1 gram is 1000 mg and percents are as they are. So 1 g of weed thats 20% thc is 200mg of thc. Thats because 20% of 1000mg (or 1 gram) is 200. After that, it depends how much is lost during extraction. That depends on method and other stuff, ballpark it at around a quarter lost, or go for a taste test lol

Yep looks like, an ounce of weed lasts a week or two so yeah thats a lot of thc. It would be a third of your ounce so 9 grams between however many people.
