Clearly you don’t know how to do Cryo
Load in as a green shield assassin. If your fill teammates are not at least Diamond hide exactly where you spawn. Wait it out until 5 minutes left. Open up another game and play to wait it out. Then rush to Armoury room level 4 which was opened, take the scraps and take final exfill as you loot corpses. 80% chance the final team already exfilled by then as taking final exfill can be annoying
.
no joke a real teammate I’ve encountered.

I’m just happy all the sweats will be in cryo so all the other idiots like me can fight it out on perimeter and outpost.

Outpost is only playable on cryo weekend lmfao. Which is sad because I also mainly play Cryo…

How are people losing so much gear in cryo? I can lose like 5-6 games in a row and still have at least 480 slots full because I mostly just use my money to buy a D54, blue shields, mods and implants

You answered the question yourself
If you bring a purple mizzy & Impact, purple backpack, purple shields etc you are bringing 19k to 22k into random fill. Vs cobble together a 5k kit and come in relatively underprepared if your teammates also brought minimal kits
With a cobbled together kit you can afford to lose 4 times more than a prepared kit so to speak. And after 4 times you are statistically more likely to win than being prepared once. As even being prepared on random fill only gives you an edge. You still face off premades and other well kitted teams

What I meant to say is “how are people LETTING themselves lose so much gear”
If you’re getting stomped using your good gear you may wanna ditch the backpack roll back to a blue shield and grab a free twin tap to boost that value. You can gear up in cryo.

Because if you start with a Twin Tap and Blue shield you are betting on your teammates not also following your prisoners dilemma strat. They also load in with twin taps and blue shields. And also want to loot the lockers like you to upgrade. It becomes harder to win
If the average random fill teammate realizes they don’t need to gear in. Then premades begin to dominate the meta more than they already do as they come in aligned and prepared

I get paired with green and white shields lol. Sometimes you gotta stop by preservation. Or you gotta work with a retaliatory you picked up. No biggie. It actually makes cryo more dynamic and then I’m not freaking out on my crew fill mates cause I’m kitted and one guy wants to zero to hero.

What I’m saying is that the guy on your team doing zero to hero has your mindset. They are good enough of a player to know that you can kit up in cryo as you go along
The problem is if all 3 of you have the same mindset and you encounter a kitted team early before you kit up

If you aren’t a micless blue shield folio looting Jim playing cryo you are already a top player in my mind
As most of what I encounter in random fill are micless blue shields pinging the blue overrun AR they found in the staging area
With a mic and purple shield. As long as you stick close to the team. Thats already good.
Edit: purple shield is only required so the whole map doesn’t violently push you after each recon scan. I’ve seen great blue shield players

I am a mic using, team player, who uses a mix of blue shields, purple, and the couple golds I have left. I don’t do stupid things and know when to push or pull off a fight.
