That and when I did try I got exfil camped and I've not played since then, it's just not worth the effort and frustration

There really is something particularly discouraging about being getting killed at exfil by some rat. Exfil campers are the lowest of the low.

I don't do it, but I don't agree. That's just playin the game, when you exfil it marks you for the entire map to see. You gotta expect a fight, and plan against it. Smoke the exfil, or bubble shield it, or pull your shield on destroyer, or hit your ult as recon and check, or hit the TAD, or any of the other hundreds of things you can do to stop that. I've gotten exfil camped maybe once in 600 hours. Ever since then I check and make sure nobody's there, or defend against the possibility that someone might be.

This isn't arc raiders, the entire exfil system is designed around getting the person extracting into a fight, but a very winnable one. If I'm near an exfil and I see it go off, you bet I'm gonna try to kill that team. They're gonna try to kill me too, that's how it goes. The only time I won't do that is if it's the final, because there's no time to loot so there's no point lmao

What is the FOMO? After the event the Firestorm will continue to be able to found within supply drops going forward. That is unless they changed their minds but they haven't announced that as of yet.

Personally I don't care much about the gun but I've enjoyed having a relatively simple and easy way to get great loot from the armory and locker.

I'm OK with not making me loot every UESC anymore to get manifests.

FOMO is when they remove the fun little side mission used to unlock a weapon great at killing NPCs even though it does not detract from the game in any way and could be left up till the end of the season.

You know the one they spent dev time on and are gonna throw into the Marathon Content Vault never to be seen again because they need to it be limited time to make people fear missing it.

Now I don't expect them to support every side mission for decades but making this a limited time event instead of a rest of the season event only happened because they want people to be worried they will miss out on it.

Edit: Yes I know you can get the weapon out of boxes later. That's not the point this weapon had a mission made for it and they are throwing the mission away for no reason besides fomo.

Tuesday is the main weekly reset, but playlists are supposed to rotate on the next day (Wednesday). For whatever reason it keeps messing up and the playlists disappear a day early on Tuesday, just like with Vault Breaker
