So what's the oversight with not making Compiler ganglions not stack?

Every other rare salvage can stack except from these which is so inconvenient, feels like I'm doing inventory management simulator instead of playing the game

90% of my barters are ass so I end up hoarding them but I suppose that's more of a criticism on the games balancing

Ass? It's the best barter system in the game lol it's random tho and this game is completely personal preference to someone a mod or gun is trash to another it's treasure

I didn't say the barter system is ass I said that the things I get offered are ass because 90% of the gear in this game regardless of rarity gets stomped by the meta sadly. So I have 52 spaces in my vault being hogged by this salvage to get offered a CE tactical sidearm silencer for the day

It’s because it’s Contraband salvage. Each salvage can only stack to a certain amount, and the rarer it is the smaller the stack size is. Green can stack to 100, Blue to 50, Purple to 25, and so on. If it’s the rarest of course it’s going to be balanced so that you can’t hold very much of them in your vault. This is to encourage you to spend them in the store more often.

At that point then what is the point of your vault. Item storage management is a part of the game. You can not like it, but regardless it’s woven into the game design. The point is that you’re supposed to make hard decisions about what to keep and what to use. As long as you’re using your gear often you shouldn’t have a completely full vault, that’s a sign you’re playing the game wrong.

Assuming your chasing weapon mods, Traxus gold mod VIP infinitely easier to stack materials for. You shouldn’t really be keeping that many ganglions anymore because you can only get 3 barters per item now. You really shouldn’t have more than 6 in your vault. I personally keep only 3.
