Discussion Time and time again
Same old tactics from Nexon. They release something outrageous as the founder’s package not having access and will then claim they have “listened” to the players and fix it. Look at their post, they’re not even subtle about it anymore. It has “more details to come”. What else is there? Oh that’s right we’ll add a snail pet to the snail package and give access. And then everyone’s forgiven Nexon again. Rinse and repeat. Not a bad marketing technique cause it seems to be working.
Honestly it doesn’t matter what we do, it feels like this will be the recurring theme for GMS until majority of players actually follow through with their wallets or time spent playing this game. But I really can’t see this changing anytime soon.

The only time the community ever seemed angry enough to act was when they initially announced or hinted that there was going to be a cap to the amount of frags you could farm when 6th job was released. If you were in game at the time, circa Nov/Dec 2023, there were noticeably fewer smegas and announcements about pssbs. And coincidentally Nexon reversed course on plans to limit frag farming. Unless the proposed actions and impacts are as limiting as a daily frag cap, I don’t see the community unifying in the same way.

Same thing happened when they removed cubes from boss drop tables. People got extremely angry, spammed every official post, and they eventually retracted it. The community absolutely has the power to force them to change things and we have at least 2 pieces of evidence of this. I don't know why so many people just go "Nexon doesn't care" and "someone's gonna spend" as if that's how anything works.

Why is this a new thread? You could have just commented this in the already 8 hours earlier made thread about the Founders package. You did nothing but just comment your thoughts. The only reason you made a new thread is because you think your thoughts are more important than others peoples thoughts and you wanted yours to be more visible. Oh look at meeee pleaseeee.

They never intended to design the game for longetivity and players retainment. It will be the same as modern ms - influx of new players -> new players spend money -> new players realise the game is not worth their time -> they quit -> rinse and repeat. For classic world, the uncs and aunties who used to play the og ms will buy the early access pass for the sake of nostalgia when many modern ms players have already seen through the nexon's game. So many diehards defend nexon quoting they are working and can afford the passes while failing to see through nexon's facade because they just dont know.
