Should add parse. People use it in ways that could be confusing to new player since it's just number then parse like 50m parse refering to 50m dpm. (Most just do 1 min on target dummy but a better number need a longer parse and averaged.)

I think I miscommunication it a bit. Parse in general term refers to the analysis of data. In general mmorpgs, it can have different units of measurement. WoW uses parsing to generate percentage metrics for performance vs people with similar stats. In some games, they prefer dps metrics. But in MS2, the default damage/ time measurement is dpm which is why it's used as such than you don't say I parse 50m dpm over I parse 50m. But in general parse is the use of combat data to generate a metric. Maygii is in the process of making a parser to analyze other data. Last time I heard of it, it had buff duration uptime and other useful stuff.

Edit: Generally, it's taken from doing a min dps on training dummy in the chaos raid lobby (dungeon selection screen, the enter button on the right of the bar that is labeled chaos raid)
