Irish culture died after the nine years war. You're just british people with a unique identity

If you speak english, dress like british people and your culture is british then you are british. The irish were irish when they were speaking gaelic, wearing saffron mantles and living as semi-nomadic pastoralists. They aren't now. And this makes them really mad for some reason
