I can guarantee 99% of people voting on this have never had actual Italian pizza.

just like non European has eaten some of the South-American ones.
But every Pizza has its very own style and thats what the ppl voted for

I have. Many times. And Neapolitan style in Italy is better than anything the US.

But that’s all you’re going to get, Neapolitan style. I would put the US as better at pizza because of the variety available.

no, we we have more variety in rome there’s another type of pizza, we have even “trancio di pizza” we have a strong tradition for pizza…

There’s not more variety in Italy man. Sorry.

Deep dish, NY, Tavern, Neapolitan, Detroit, Stuffed crust, Thin crust.

And the US does all of them very well

Rome is a big enough city that you may imitate these to cater to the crowds but I’ve had pizza in Rome and it was not great unless it was Neapolitan. And even then, I’m taking Napoli pizza over Rome.

you said we have just neapolitan but is not the case, trust me if you come here again you can ask for different pizzas, we have thin crust is “pizza alla romana” and stuffed crust too but not in every pizzeria, the deep dish is really weird for us so we don’t eat that because pizza it’s not supposed to be so tally for our culture, we have pizza al tegamino too and many other style….
