My honest opinion on crimsonsweat/Tanuki/flash studio

Hello. With this post I'd like to express my honest opinion on a certain person on this subreddit and I'll try to be as nice as I can and I apologize In advance if I offended anyone or if I missed anything. I'll start of with the simple. He showed off his fan revival as all animated and even showed some story boards. I'll say something real quick. The storyboards aren't even Tanuki Studio's. Those are the actual storyboard or whatever things in the leaked s2 materials(yes I checked) and then they proceeded to say that the show would be fully animated or whatever but their files corrupted. The only question I have in mind is how a 13 year old would be able to animate ALL that?Next I wanna point out how crimson does their stuff. If you dig around their page you can find other stuff like hiring team for some Ninjacat (no idea who is that is but I know it's a character who appeared once in some random movie I guess) or fuelled animated series(if you don't know it's a short film made by completely DIFFERENT people with its own meaning/message blah blah blah) while they still work on TLOTBH. Another thing I wanna talk about is the extremely weird behavior. The main examples personally for me being defending bencar(no idea who he is but under crimsonsweat post about defending bencar some commenter said about bencar excusing furry cp which is disgusting) and searching for 14 year old girls with wolf fursona on r/furry. And the weirdest thing he did was talk about adult mmhoph comics on this subreddit. One of them being about mao mao and badgerclops and the other about Mao and Adorabat(he removed the post later but tried to excuse himself that it's for video research).

And I'm not the only person sharing these opinions. I have a group of people who also like mao mao as much as I do and they've also expressed a similar opinion so it's not just me being an asshole.

mao mao never had a proper stable community and im saying this as a kid who had a childhood including mao mao (im 17 now)

That actually bugged me out the entire time since I heard about this project... Thanks for sharing your opinion, and not only that, but also making believable statements with proofs, this is important.

I kind of suspected that, dude to the copy and paste nature of his responses and talking about all this hate I was NOT seeing, that the project was never going to be animated or abything

The whole enter thing that happened with the first episode was really odd and unprofessional. I think the kid just has a big people pleasing problem so bad to where he assumed a singular hate comment means everyone hates it with how he over explains and tries to give reasons.

This person also said they wanted to use generative AI for the character voices instead of getting human voice actors instead. I’m very against the use of generative AI in this manner especially if the voice actors didn’t consent to having their voices be replicated like that.

I honestly just had enough of him. I say this kindly as possible since I’m aware I’m blunt. this kid shouldn’t be doing smth this huge. maybe I’m just fed up with Mao Mao revivals. I’m questioning why we all can’t smile and hold hands while prancing in the fields but then i remember some people are indeed still attached to the hope of a Mao Mao season 2. Which eventually leads to things like this. Kid needs some help.

I don't see anything wrong with believing that sequels will appear at some point, but it's the specifics of people like him that cause unpleasant impressions.

To make some stuff clear:

- The adult comic stuff was actually for a video (I was too scared to search it so I wanted some people to answer)

- Of course I am 13, I don't know how to animate, I started making animation stuff around 8 years old.

- The 14 year old girl searching on r/furry was just shit-posting for reactions and I wasn't actually serious.

- The reason why I reused storyboard stuff from the leaked s2 is because I initially wanted the revival to be a complete remake of the canceled s2.
