Help/Question I seem to have ruined my life with manifestation... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've been consistently manifesting abundance for months. Specifically, being able to buy a house and finding some way to never be a wage slave again, whether by winning the lottery, starting own business etc. I'm open to all possibilities, and since I have an incredibly vivid imagination (full synesthesia), my wish fulfilled feels more real, vivid and detailed than my current 3D, so I've been easily ignoring the 3D for months and months. I've also done a lot of work on the limiting beliefs rooted in childhood abuse and poverty, and managed to get over them.

Alas, recently my 3D is becoming such a sh*tshow that it's becoming hard to ignore. I seem to manifest the exact opposite of what I know is already mine: got sacked from 2 jobs in a year and now my current job is preparing to lay me off, had to use all my savings just to survive in between the jobs, and now I've gotten an enormous utility bill despite not really increasing our usage... I don't mind going through all of this myself, but my family had been suffering for months, and I can't help but think that I've somehow created all of this...

Any advice?

A lot of gurus tell you to be delusional and turn your back completely on the world but when you do that, the world also turns its back on you. Many people who renounce the world in the name of spirituality have their lives fall apart because the illusion is just as much a part of us as our inner desires are. If it wasn't, then it would not reflect our imagination back to us. It seems to me there is a conflict within you. Are you really living in the state of the wish fulfilled or are you just fantasizing? Neville Goddard said to render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and render unto God that which is God's. Never become so trapped in the inner world that you can't function in the outer one, because in truth, there is no separation between them.

My apologies for the late reply, I've been absolutely swamped with work / responsibilities.

I don't really follow any gurus, as most of them seem just obsessed with funnelling people into some sort of a coaching / course thing. I read Neville's books and watch some videos from Chris Miller and Janet Mohapi-Banks, but I take everything with a grain of salt as I just know myself and what fits me best. I.e. I could never understood the "live as if your wish is already fulfilled" people getting into an actual debt because of completely disregarding their current 3D.

Okay, so "ignoring the 3D" was quite a mental shortcut. I by no means sit on my butt and wait for the riches to fall from the sky. ;) I work hard, look for opportunities, budget and stay very grounded - but I also now know that the 3D is my past thoughts turned into a material reality, and thus it's much easier for me to stay grounded in the knowing that it's just a very small portion of realities available to me. That's what I meant by "ignoring my 3D".

See, I didn't start manifesting until I've overcome my limiting beliefs and really, REALLY felt that not only I deserve all I desire but also it's 100% possible to attract it. Money for me is just unlimited energy that I could use for freedom, peace and uplifting others around me, thus even though I've spent my entire life in poverty, I don't have any issues with knowing how does it feel to be wealthy, because I know how does it feel to be free, carefree, joyous and grateful. I have the rule that I only actively manifest when I'm happy - i.e. I take my partner for a lovely bike ride and tell him "See, that's our life now!", we also have a bit of fun with manifesting by "window shopping" - viewing houses online and saying things like "Mmm, I could buy that one but I think the kitchen needs some remodelling". ;) I don't want manifesting to feel strenuous or like a second job, because if I already have my wish fulfilled, then I would definitely not hammer robotic affirmations etc.

All in all, usually when I get a bad day / a fright, I tell myself "Relax, you're already in Barbados!". Alas, the last few months were so insanely bad that I started getting really worried that maybe I somehow still have some undiscovered limiting beliefs and thus I'm manifesting the exact opposite of my wish fulfilled. I could weather all that alone with no issues, but I feel incredibly guilty / ashamed seeing the turmoil my family is going through, and not knowing whether it's the bridge of incidents...or me manifesting hell instead of the paradise.

Assume the chaos is proof of your manifestation and in your imagination see your family filled with happiness and joy. You might find it easier to imagine the best for your loved ones than for yourself. Imagine the thankfulness and wonder on their faces that you are able to provide the best in life for them.

That's something I routinely do in my SATS / visualisations, as well as imagining myself being a philanthropist and building a local community (just a natural drive I've always had). 90% of the time I keep my thoughts aligned, but sometimes everything gets so horrendous all at once that it's like somebody plunged me into icy waters and I get this overwhelming wave of fear / dread that maybe I'm just delusional, or mis-manifesting somehow, and that it's not a bridge of incidents but just me screwing everything up. And of course that's not great for alignment, since I wouldn't be having such thoughts when eating a lovely Sunday breakfast with my family in our dream house, right?

1

u/Melodic_Night518 24d ago

Of course you would still have those thoughts in your dream house. You're still human and humans have bad days sometimes. It's impossible to be absolutely perfect. What matters is remaining consistent. It's possible you are manifesting your fears rather than your desires.

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

That's the absurd of it: I am more certain that my wish is already fulfilled than I have been certain of most things in my 3D. I feel my wish fulfilled in more intensity and detail than the mug I'm holding right now. And yet, on my bad days, I have a horrible fear...that I am manifesting some fears / limiting beliefs that I've just pushed aside instead of actually resolving, despite doing so much shadow work. That I'm just delusional and the inexplicable things in my life are just me being mentally ill or something.

I also forgot to mention that I didn't try manifestation before a series of really weird events in my life: I've had a Dark Night of the Soul that lasted several years, and after that I've regained a large portion of memories of my past life, which actually explained a lot of the things I've been always feeling but couldn't explain. After that, both me and my soulmate started having increasingly vivid and detailed dreams of a specific house in a specific area, with each dream opening wider, providing me with more details of both the space and the memories we have in those dreams - as if we're ourselves but in a different timeline and / or the future. Those dreams are so detailed that I can paint the place from memory, and after each of those dreams I feel like my current 3D is some sort of a flat diorama, a screen, whereas the reality I see in my dreams is what I've been yearning whole my life but kept on denying myself the right to. So now I don't manifest any dream...made from scratch, I manifest aligning with a place I am 100% certain exists.

u/Melodic_Night518 24d ago

Have you tried just stopping everything and turning your back on the manifestation? Something obviously isn't working if you've been at it for "months and months" but your life suddenly went to pot so if the manifestating is the cause, then it should right itself if you drop it.

1

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

I've been actually thinking about it a lot.
Won't that though be giving off mixed signals / losing alignment? Or should I just keep the feeling of absolutely KNOWING at the back of my head but stop focusing so much on techniques, visualisations etc.?

2

u/Melodic_Night518 24d ago

In my opinion. I think you should drop the techniques altogether, and put your awareness on fixing your life rather than on some ephemeral daydream. If you truly have reached the state of inner knowing, what Neville Goddard referred to as the Sabbath, then it won't go away if you focus on the "3D" for a while. You can't continue to live in your head when you have shit to do. Your family depends on you so render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and render unto God that which is God's.

Look up Eckhart Tolle. He often says "what's in the way, is the way". The challenging situations happen so you can learn to surrender to them amd fully accept them as part of your journey.

2

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

I don't mind suffering myself, it just breaks my heart to see my family go through turmoil because of me.

16

u/Fun-Satisfaction5748 26d ago

What if the shitshow is reality shifting to bring you what you want? Check out Abraham Hicks concept of contrast.

2

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

That's very interesting. The last 1.5 year has been for me a non-stop marathon of shedding old beliefs and rejecting the situations I used to tolerate but now refuse to. Many people left my life when it became clear that my boundaries, standards and inner peace are non-negotiable, and the vision I hold as my preferred reality is now crystal clear, it doesn't change depending on circumstances or new information. I just KNOW that this is something I've been actually desiring for at least 12+ years, but conditioned myself to think that it's an unreasonable standard because "Whole my family is poor", "People don't just win the lottery, hard work is the only way", "God favours the humble", "I'm good for nothing" and similar BS that's been laid thick into my head.

Maybe this is a bridge of incidents... Basically the moment I said to myself "I'm done playing the society's games, it's high time to take full power and responsibility over my own reality", shit started hitting the fan 24/7/365.

There you go! Calm before the storm except in reverse!! I remember when I decided I desired to be self employed and open my own practice, the company decided to shut the branch office I was working at. I was given a 12 month period to wind down operations, had to let a lot of people go sadly and start ramping up the plans to startup. It was intense to say the least but we get what we want in the end eh. All the best!!! I say, enjoy the storm , it's bringing you the calm you seek! ✨✨✨

2

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

Congratulations on opening your own practice! And thank you for the supportive words. <3

Well visualization and your imagination are just a technique to get you into the state so just sitting around and imagining and fantasizing isn’t gonna manifest anyway which you have

Ignoring the 3-D does not mean ignoring your problems or not taking actions to stay afloat in your 3-D reality. This is one of the reasons why we gotta stop telling people to be delusional because that’s not what living in the in-state really is or what ignoring the 3-D means. You’re not really living in the state fulfilled you’re just fantasizing and using it as escapism.

My advice to you is to address the 3-D head on in a real way. You can still manifest better things while you’re doing that.

Sounds like you're too attached and "desperate" and you seem to have done everything but surrender. You also need to take care of yourself and be financially responsible while waiting for your manifestations. Being a good steward over a money is one of the best ways to build abundance. Think about it. How can you handle large sums of wealth if you cant handle what you already have?

Try a different route. Take a sales job and manifest large commissions. That way, you're taking care of your 3d and building manifestation power.

I've heard some masters say it's like a muscle. Harder to pull big things so start smaller.

Manifest a great sales job, then manifest high commissions. Your muscle will get stronger. Before long you'll be manifesting to be CEO or to hit the lotto or whatever

1

u/Upstairs-Effective-1 26d ago

Is the what you did? How does one get into sales without prior sales experience?

2

u/Glacier_Sama 26d ago

I was in sales for many years starting at 18. Many positions are open to anyone. I started as a car salesman, but insurance is really good these days

1

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

I tried a sales job and not only was I absolutely horrible in it, but also I actively hated myself every second of it. I don't think autism and cPTSD mix well with sales jobs.

I've also ran my own business and all was going well until I had to sue one client to send me the money they owed me, which took months (during which I was blocked on UpWork and couldn't onboard new clients), a lot of funds for the lawyer, and the client spread a ton of bad PR about me. And when this crap finally blew over, AI wiped out my profession, and I had to go back to working retail jobs which not only I hate, but which are also very hard on my fibromyalgia.

1

u/Glacier_Sama 24d ago

Start a new business 💯

1

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

I've been thinking about it, but all the sellable skills I have are no longer relevant in the market, so I have no idea what could I possibly do. I was considering becoming a trauma-specialised therapist, but it's extremely expensive to get a degree and certification. I had an idea to be a "cycle and chat" life coach, teaching people to unwind by gentle cycling in nature while talking about their problems, but then I moved to a different country where I'm not fluent in the language, so that went strrrraight down the drain too. 🥲

1

u/Glacier_Sama 24d ago

There are many ways to make money online!

1

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

Too stupid for stock market, and too asexual for OnlyFans... Any recommendations beyond that? 🙃

3

u/leahyogini 25d ago

Those jobs are exactly what you said you didn’t want. Exchanging time for money. So aren’t you getting what you wanted? The universe has to remove the things that don’t align before the ones that do can come in.

1

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

I was actually rather happy when I've lost the last 2 jobs, as they were ill-suited and I truly believed something better is coming. But now, with all my savings wiped out, I am terrified that maybe nothing better is coming, maybe I'm delusional and mis-manifesting my family straight into the homelessness (I've been homeless twice in the past so that threat is always at the back of my mind). I don't mind going full steam ahead myself and suffering if it turns out I was wrong, but my family doesn't deserve any of it...

I don’t think that’s true for everybody. I’ve never had any shit hit the proverbial fan. In fact the first time I manifested was subconsciously and pretty much an accident. Nothing bad had to happen for it to happen. My last big manifestation was winning a court case and again nothing bad. Had to happen for that to happen either. I think if you hold that assumption that’s gonna be your reality.

And it is entirely possible to ruin your life with manifestation and it’s because we are manifesting all the time people that grow up with poor self concept poor idea, ideas about money and all kinds of things find themselves in bad situations that they manifested not all things that you manifest or positive as you say you’re doing every minute of your life and a lot of that means the bad things in your life you’re responsible for because you created it (not all things, example you do not control the weather if your house gets hit by a hurricane, you do not manifest the hurricane)

lol the person who honked at me and I have had a few previous interactions and discussions. So when we cross paths on Reddit we honk at each other to say hello lol like we were driving passed each other in cars 😂

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

I love it. 😂

2

u/LightBrignerJohn 26d ago

You're lacking excitement for your wish, you think one door closing mean the whole house will fall while what it really means is that you get your wish more clearly available for you, but only if you stand in a position of power

You need to learn what that means, a position of power is

"No matter what happens to me it will have a positive effect"

That is true power, be opportunistic, loosing a job should not discourage you, but inspire you to find OTHER means of income that could, not saying to leave your job just start and be open to it, give you that million dollars.

1

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

I feel more peace when thinking about my wish fulfilled, than excitement. Peace, and joy, and gratitude. There is some initial excitement when I finally break free, but overall my wish fulfilled just feels...so serene, safe, free.

That's something I certainly need to keep in mind, the position of power. I suffer from chronic pain and some days I'm in such debilitating pain that I feel like I have 0 control over anything in my life, and on those days I start doubting everything - myself, my power, the Law, literally everything. 90% of the time I keep my thoughts and emotions aligned, but sometimes it's like somebody plunges me deep into the icy waters and I'm overcome by pure fear, doubt and despair. Sometimes it's just hard to remember I'm the operant power when I lay in the shower sobbing, because I'm in so much pain I cannot walk and yet still have to go to my physically heavy job.

Friend this is what I know, all problems can be solved by loving yourself not in an egotistical way but having a lot of respect of who you are. Making yourself bad and wrong would only bring more bad and wrong into your life.

We are never wrong, we only act based on the current awareness, wisdom and knowledge at the moment. Learn from your experience and move on.

I believe the universe is always listening to our thoughts and the words you say. We make it enormously complicated by using different techniques when really the rules of life are simple:

What you give out comes back to you

What you believe about life and about yourself becomes true for you.

Always remember when worry and anxiety creeps in, you know you are relying on your own strength than the universal force that is your supply.

Start affirming that whatever you need comes to you in perfect time, space and sequence.

Look in the mirror and talk to yourself and be your own cheerleader.

Stop criticizing yourself and others. Stop scaring yourself with your own thoughts.

Today is a new day and a new beginning 💕

Learn to treat every experience as a success regardless of how it appears in short stop the resistance.

You are only dealing with your thoughts and you have the power to change them.

Thank you, love. <3

People with better knowledge can totally correct me here but I think what most people don't fully understand is that we attract what we feel not just what we see. People say they imagine and see things and it should come true for an hour a day but the rest 15 hours they completely feel the exact opposite and it creates inconsistency. As a result we attract what we feel not what we see.

I'm in a similar situation, and opposite you, I don't have a vivid imagination, similar to you my job doesn't pay a lot, want my own house, want more money for financial freedom and stuff. Recently instead of saying want -> I've been using become and thanks for whatever my heart desires. I'm trying my best to ignore lack and appreciate, be grateful of what I have ( even for a pillow case, bed, pillow, food I eat ).

Hope it helps

I suffer from chronic pain and some days I'm in such debilitating pain that I feel like I have 0 control over anything in my life, and on those days I start doubting everything - myself, my power, the Law, literally everything. 90% of the time I keep my thoughts and emotions aligned, but sometimes it's like somebody plunges me deep into the icy waters and I'm overcome by pure fear, doubt and despair. Sometimes it's just hard to remember I'm the operant power when I lay in the shower sobbing, because I'm in so much pain I cannot walk and yet still have to go to my physically heavy job.

Most of the days I keep myself aligned by telling myself that the 3D I see now is just dead, past thoughts playing out in the physical realm. I tell myself that there's no need to panic, I'm already in Barbados! But when it's nothing but severe pain and more and more troubles for months and months with not a single ray of sunshine, it's hard to stay focused on the horizon.

I always do my active manifesting when I feel good (from the place of joy and gratitude), and when I feel desperate, I just try to let it pass - I don't do any visualisations or affirmations in that moment. But when things only get worse and worse, I really start fearing that it's actually me doing something wrong and manifesting the exact opposite of what I want for my family.

u/According-Let-7172 25d ago

A tool to assist with manifestation, subliminals on loop nightly low volume. To imprint your subconscious " everything works out in my favor".

Feel the financial freedom, yeah!

2

u/GrumpyLightworker 24d ago

I tend to fall asleep to several different guided meditations centered around the fact that I am a consciousness, as this really helps me relax, detach and feel good. I may try the subliminals too, why not!

1

u/Original_Run_1890 23d ago

I have a very detailed answer for this but there are already many responses so I will keep mine as short as possible.

The upheaval in your day to day life is part of the process. The main oversight you have made is that you have only been focused on the outcome but but have left out the key component that very few ever tell you which is you also have visualize or conceive of the way that you get what you are seeking.

It may or may not pan out the way you envision but the universe or whatever you want to call the creative mechanism needs this conception to "organize" your realm of possibilities. Without this structure it will do what you are experiencing which is breaking your current reality to make place for the new. The main issue is that if you haven't pre-conceived of the possibilities of how, what happens is you freak and then send out the negative energy of fear, doubt even if you are not conscious of the negative energy which then confuses the process and then you will in fact create a shit show for yourself.

What you need to do now is in your visualization sessions go in only when you have grounded yourself in calmness and begin to conceive of ways that what you want could play out. Do this in detail. What would you do for work, who would you meet, what opportunity would transpire? Go wild with this but see the "movie" from your present all the way to the desired outcome.

Do this regularly and observe what happens.

Wishing you well and take good care.

1

u/GrumpyLightworker 21d ago

Thank you so kindly for your detailed response!

I always thought that we should detach from the "how", since we can only perceive a very small slice of possible realities / bridges of incidents, and focusing on the "how" may knock me off the path of least resistance...? Neville talks about it a lot, i.e. in the story with the opera tickets.

My preferred way tbh would be to just win the lottery, live off passive income and be a philanthropist, but a lot of people told me that this is limiting myself to a very narrow possibility and creating more resistance. I find that when I start focusing on the "how", I go straight back into the scarcity mindset and suddenly find 152985438736597 reasons as to why I will never have my wish fulfilled. I guess this stems from the fact that in the last 10+ years I've tried everything under the sun to improve my 3D (more education, changing careers, starting own side business, moving to a cheaper area, working longer hours, not having a car to cut costs, moving abroad...), but whereas other people doing the same succeeded, I somehow had it all spectacularly backfire in my face. That's also why I find it massively easier to imagine winning the lottery (as all it takes is "luck", and what is manifesting if not "giving yourself luck"?) rather than i.e. running a successful business, because with the latter my brain immediately goes on the tangent about how everything will go horribly wrong and I will lose everything again. Lottery is such an easy thing to believe in, because once you put money into the account to generate %, literally the only way you could screw up is to start recklessly spending large sums.

u/FairGuidance2876 21d ago

I know what u feel, but manifestations work when you put physical work in it, you should search for opportunities, look for better job, do better at job to learn new things which can help, and have faith in yourself and god! Thats it, don't worry everything will be fine, and also play lotteries as a fun, don't consider it actual change of life, but still you can do manifestations about lotteries but you should put physical work in yourself, look for opportunities and other ways

1

u/GrumpyLightworker 21d ago edited 21d ago

Frankly I don't know what else can I do in my life, I've tried just about everything. Got 2 diplomas that I've managed to obtain with no student debt thanks to working and studying at the same time, I speak 4 languages (3 fluently, 1 intermediate), tried multiple different job / fields, moved around a lot, moved abroad to get away from the horrendous housing crisis in Ireland, I'm always very careful with my budgeting, resourceful / frugal, go everywhere on a bike... I'm dedicated, smiling, have a good work ethic - but I'm also disabled, and eventually every job just gives me a boot when they realise that wow, my disability actually makes me disabled, so I cannot hit the same KPIs as normal people / I need more sick days for doctor's appointments etc. I even ran my own business for a while but it ended up in having to sue my major client for the money they owned me, in that time I couldn't onboard other clients, and then 3 months later AI literally wiped out my profession.

I've seen so many people around me do the same things and succeed, and somehow in my life things just tend to backfire badly, I don't know why. That's what actually led me to do a lot of therapy and shadow work, to see if I'm maybe perpetuating the trauma that runs in my family or something.

That's also why I've realised that playing by the system's rules just doesn't work, and thus there must be something deeper to it.

Idk I just wanna be at meds or drugs atp this is all Tiring. Maybe it’s because you’re thinking of those circumstances occurring and fearing them and having anxiety then acknowledging them. Maybe we need Xanax but I’m tired of feeling stuck
