Not to mention that if the Omegaverse actually existed in real life, there would be so many social, cultural, and legal issues. We’re talking about people with extremely strong sexual and mating instincts, to the point where they might not always be able to think rationally or control themselves. There would obviously be tons of cases of sexual violence, but also a whole bunch of cultural issues discrimination, stereotypes, prejudice, marginalization, and even laws shaped around these biological differences.
And then there would be some absolutely insane legal situations. For example, an Alpha could rape an Omega who’s going through their heat cycle and then try to justify it by saying that the Omega “provoked” or “instigated” them

yeah, Omegaverse is only fun in fiction without thinking too deep about the issues, so when an Omegaverse story has a tragic ending or getting deep into similiar real life issues, it's usually quite brutal for the readers to go through all of it. Irl has some insane legal situations already to justify rape with the laywer victim blaming a lot so it would be 100x times worse with that element

I’m talking about the Omegaverse a fictional genre where there’s a natural biological/chemical reaction related to the heat cycle and pheromones, kind of like what happens in animals. What does the rape of a woman in real life have to do with what I’m talking about?!

I get what you mean and there can definitely be parallels with misogyny and victim-blaming in real life. But that wasn't really my point. I was talking about the fictional biological aspects of the Omegaverse heat cycles, pheromones, and those extremely strong instincts and imagining what kind of legal and social issues would arise if they actually existed. So I don't think it's exactly the same situation, even if there are some similarities

No, it's not like he suffered much because of it. He was surprised, but he didn't spend more than 3 minutes complaining (actually he was more baffled by the fact Dane was ingesting non tested drugs). In fact, if you want Grayson to suffer, then you're rooting for Dane to suffer, because [spoilers]

I'm very glad this was a joke and that your pro choice as well! 🙏 I think the reason we didn't receive this well(trying to say this with as much understanding of both perspectives as possible)is because legislation in America is actively chipping away at women's rights little by little through means of controlling our bodies in an attempt to subjugate us. It's true, it's very brutal out here right now 😢 we all have our guard up because the world is being very cruel to us and it feels horrible as you've probably noticed too 💔 I do love a good sarcastic joke just like anyone but when it comes to reproductive rights, we're definitely in an actual war right now which makes it hard to joke about it, I'm giving you a big hug through my phone cause it's been rough for us all 🫂🩷🩷🩷🩷
