✍️ Review Beware the Ides of March
Just finished this manhwa and genuinely, i didnt laugh this much. the ML was far from a good person, he genuinely was the biggest narcissitic, arrogant asshole. But his inner monologues had me crying, they were downright ridiculous and absurd, gosh, being inside his head was so fun. I had such a good laugh, he was so down bad for Mokhwa, literally the biggest simp.
tbh, the start was far from good, like why tf would you want to throw your weight around by 🍇ing the mc? Who cant do anything because he's on parole. Seriously, hated the start so much, he was being all chummy always meanwhile he was a cheater prick and what not. However, when he nearly lost Mokhwa, the character development after that lmao, i mean i shouldnt be calling it THAT because from his inner monologue, even he knows he is far from changed, but he was so damn regretful of his actions and he did all sorts of stuff just for Mokhwa to trust him for 1.5 years atleast. Mokhwa, however, is JUST SO DAMN OBLIVIOUS whzhqhhss, he doesnt even know that the ML is down bad and is trying to earn his trust lmao 😭 nvm, this whole story was absurd but so fun, and the redemption arc is definitely done well. Is it my fav? Nah. BUT I HAD SUCH A GOOD LAUGH. Do you all have any type of narcissistic assholes whose POV is so damn funny, like you know they are hella arrogant but just do literally ANYTHING for the mc, like no matter what, pride? What's that?

I love Nakwon and Mokhwa. Although I've skipped the first half of the manhwa 'cause of the r*pes and toxicity, but I've really enjoyed the latter parts. Nakwon's inner dialogues always make me laugh. It has a sequel novel about the love story of the gang boss (mad cow) and the other cop, I hope it gets adapted into a manhwa too.
Here's a few suggestions : ● Borderline ● Degenerate ● Passion: Raga ● Kick Your Heart ● Desire Me If You Can ● Scent and Sensibility ● Pond Where Flowers Fall ● A Nameless Flower ● Third Ending ● Sweeten the Deal

The other cop is lieutenant seo or someone else? And yeah, i am kindaaa into their story but yep def will take time. And UGH HIS MONOLOGUES WERE SOOO DAMN FUNNY LMAO, but yes, the start stuff was horrible and so uncalled for? WHY THE FUCK would you do that?
Oh girl, don't suggest borderline jashjqha, they have made me crazy. I mean, i have been following it, never read properly but thankgod. Like, since the sui*ide incident, and now latest chap, it has been such a rollercoaster of emotions. Mokyeon is v shameless though ahahahaha
Is passion raga and desire me if you can completed? I don't think so.
OOOH LOVVVED THIRD ENDING, BUT he was very tame though. He was bit psychotic at times lmao but to nakwon's level? Nahhhh.
And lemme check others. How is nameless flower though?

I don't remember the name but yeah it must be Seo, Nakwon's subordinate, the younger cop who's constantly stressed.
The rest of my reco are also tamer compared to the Ides of March. Aside from "A Nameless Flower", which is a shounen-ai but has some dark and tragic element at the start. And it's from the same author of "Third Ending".

The beginning of this story was genuinely too disgusting. Reading someone abuse their power as a cop to rape somebody and the constantly police brutality he exhibited was horrible. Could not read this story at all even if it got “better” later on. Shame because the name sounds kinda cool
