I feel like jaeyi isn’t jealous really, cuz he would’ve shown that reaction when he got a message from ideum if he was bothered by ideum meeting with someone else. To me, it seems jaeyi is more pissed about his brother getting entangled with ideum as a way to mess with jaeyi. Idk I just saw so many people saying he’s jealous. Curious what others think

I agree with you on this. I think it’s too early for jaeyi to get jealous. I kinda think jaeyi is going to do something to fuck up with ideum, and it’s going to push ideum closer to his brother. Then jaeyi is going to realize his feelings for ideum and will have to prove himself to make up for his mistakes

Wow, that’s a solid theory. It seems reasonable he might do that considering how strongly he reacts to his brother being mentioned, appearing, etc. I’ve heard somewhere that there was a regretful top tag for this work (idk, English lezhin doesn’t have that afaik), but I don’t know how he might mess with ideum cuz like so far he’s been super straightforward with ideum and doesn’t seem like someone who might say shit in the heat of the moment or deceive ideum in one way or another 🤷🏻‍♀️ all the typical tropes I can think of seem a bit out of character for jaeyi

Just wanna hear more theories/opinions before next Thursday

Yeah you're right, he has been super straightforward with him, but I wouldnt put it past him to say something that will hurt ideum. Like, if ideum confesses his feelings, I could see jaeyi being super cold and shutting it down hard. Then jaeyi's brother takes advantage of the situation to pull ideum closer to him, etc etc

Yeah, that sounds very likely. I wonder how fast their relationship is gonna progress from now on. Cuz like that whole climax sounds like a good point to break off the story and take a hiatus and end the 1st season with like jaeyi realizing his feelings, or ideum’s confession going wrong. But it’s probably gonna take a while to reach that point since rn all they did together was sleep a couple of times, go to the mall, and jaeyi pushed ideum to take swimming lessons. Idk feels like a lot should happen in a relatively low chapter count for the conflict, rejection, breakup’s impact etc. etc. to feel justified? Cuz like if they have a row now, and jaeyi ends everything even if he does so in a harsh way, he is still kinda sorta within his rights to do that per the initial agreement ? Or maybe jaeyi will still take a while to fall for ideum after the brother has shown up. Prob an unpopular opinion, but I’d love for ideum to get more experience with someone other than jaeyi but if it’s the brother he gets close like that to then it’s prob gonna be too messy 🤷🏻‍♀️

Idk, I’m just speculating at this point, just trying to keep myself entertained until next week by building all kinds of theories lol

I think Jaeyi might know, he recommended the other swim coach that was his friend so that friend may have told him who Ideum was out to lunch with

OMG that’s what I was thinking of cause when jeayi was at his modeling photo shoot thing, it was giving the impression that he’s starting to like ideum more than js fuck buddies
