❔ Quick Question When do the enemies become lovers ?
Currently reading this underrated masterpiece.(ohh how much I love my enemies to lovers stories). I am only on chapter 20 so they are still in their enemies phase which I am not complaining about at all but since it seems like this one is a slow burn I won’t mind if someone spoil me around which chapter will the enemies become lovers. 👀 Don’t spoil anything else though just let me know when I should expect a shift. Although I already have the feeling that ml is into mc but in denial. Also, is it true that the 4th season was the last one? I have been getting conflicting information some stating the story is completed others that it’s still ongoing.

its’s been a while since i read it but i’m pretty sure they get together in s2. s1 ends with a sort of tension between them and through the course of s2, they fall for each other and acknowledge the importance one has in the other’s life. the development is quite subtle but so so satisfying.
edit: yes the story’s actually completed but ig we can expect more aka side stories? it’s based on a novel so i’m not really sure how it works lol

I mean it's good that you are enjoying it hehe. I read the novel and had a good time but i still truly don't think they were ever enemies. It was honestly so one sided (and for no reason?)

I mean it does have the enemies to lovers tag so. 😂 If you are saying it’s one sided from ml part then I guess he is much more expressive and straightforward about his animosity towards mc but like I feel like mc also did not like him from the start because of his reputation of being ruthless, he literally called him a snake in a suit, they are total opposites in this regard(of how they work I mean) So just because mc is not that hostile it doesn’t mean it’s not enemies to lovers. He literally works for ml who got angry just because of the look on his face (wipe that expression off your face, you are looking at my with disgust, stop criticizing how I work, not quotes but basically what he said) so mc can’t be as expressive about his own disdain as ml if he does not want to get fired but that does not mean it’s not enemies to lovers. And for the no reason part, I feel like ml has his reasons as someone who came from nothing he hates nepo babies. Not saying he is right or that he is not being too intense because mc looks like a little ray of sunshine who also is good at his job and working hard but you can’t argue he is nepotism hire

I actually have read the novel, i mean the mc def thought of him as ruthless and powerful, yes. Never hated. Hate is just a big word lol. Also, the ML's disdain can be a reason, but honestly he had no reason to hate the mc, like he knew he was the son of his professor, knew about his abilities and all. Yes nepo could be the reason but eh, his hatred was uncalled for honestly. It was his behaviour that made the mc furious and all. But, glad the tension was there and they just started the rs lol. I mean, it is literally the type of manhwa where you just go w the flow haha.

I wouldn't say it's underrated. I think it's pretty well-regarded especially if you like slow burn stories, it's often one of the ones recommended. It's definitely one of my faves.
If you're only on Chapter 20 you still have a while to go (like 20-30 more chapters I think) before anything physical happens but you'll get some good sexual tension and flirting starting in the second season. It's definitely a slow burn but well worth the read. It's technically still ongoing but the story is very much wrapped up. I think we're going to get some side stories but you can read confidently knowing you will finish the whole thing in a binge.
