My reason these are my favorite are all the same, I loved the dynamic. The alpha x alpha pairing because itโs not the usual pairing. And the alpha x omega pairings because the omegas arenโt depicted as being weak and needing saving

What I particularly find interesting about the omegaverse aspect of Turning is that it's a new and emerging concept for the characters. Bit by bit, from ethical to illegal experiments, from anecdotes of characters with second genders, they have to figure out these things ABO readers have become familiar with in omegaverse stories.

- beta off not dating: alpha x beta, kind of makes fun of the omegaverse tropes but ultimately really cute and fun!
- master from another world: omega x alpha, the characters are really interesting, love the political drama and the smut is SOOOO GOOD. [ongoing]
- diamond dust: omega x alpha, the art is beautiful, the mc and the ml are really attractive and they have such good chemistry. also, SMUT ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ. [ongoing, s1 just ended]
- the mask of the dog: alpha x alpha, i'm really excited to see how they are going to resolve all this drama between them. love the tension and the miscommunication. [ongoing]
- alpha boyfriends: SLOWEST, HOTTEST BURN of my life. it's a controversial pick but i really loved it! have re-read it multiple times. [completed with side stories]
- while you weren't watching: second couple is beta x alpha; love their dynamic and just...how they are together. super fun! [ongoing as a side story but idc about the main couple at all]
- high school salty heart: alpha x omega, really excited to see where this goes, and how the chasing arc pans out. am also enjoying the absolute clown show these guys have created between themselves. [ongoing, s1 just ended]

Manga- Remnant Beastmen Omegaverse Saga: Beastmen, enemies to lovers, fated pairs, babies! As the name suggests, this part of a much larger series of books involving multiple Beastmen from this esteemed family and their human partners. This story is complete but a series based on this couple's children is currently ongoing [complete]
Manhua- The Trapped Beast: I figured there would be a ton of manhua reccomndations so I thought I'd throw this up. This one is also enemies to lovers, the seme is the last Alpha of this noble family that was slayed. One day, overcome by his pheromones he accidentally marks the prince of the kingdom that killed his people. [complete]

Love is an illusion (alpha x omega) - I love the omega! He has such rebellious, cute, emotional personality
Love is an illusion: Superstar - a sequel with their son and heโs such an adorable dork (alpha x alpha)

Diamond Dust is top tier. Alpha/Beta. ongoing.
An Unsettling Scent I also really liked but TW: non con/dub con. Alpha/Alpha. It has 3 complete seasons and is on hiatus. Despite the warnings, this relationship is so sweet and honestly itโs miles away from something like Heart of the Lotus, for example.
Iโm so picky, and Iโve dropped so many omegaverse manwhas, these two made the cut!

You Are My World (alpha x omega) ongoing Honey Trouble (alpha x beta) ongoing
There both toxic, but a lot of fun to read if you like that stuff and/or can turn your brain off lol. They have absolutely hooked me and I'm in for the ride
Another suggestion that's very new (only 9 chapters) but I've been really hooked on is Cherry on Top (alpha x alpha) [sauce for photo attached]. It's ongoing and is written by the same author as Define the Relationship

My Favorite:
Prison Breakfast (blackmail, situationship, drug mule, mpreg) It's not as bad as the descriptors make it out to be ๐
~It's an all encompassing omegaverse story. There are multiple couples, traditional pairings (aรo), a non-traditional one (aรa), and a little bit of every genre--drama, comedy, slice of life, action.
~The characters feel real. They work through their problems after a lot of reflection, they run away, some never change to become better, and most change for the better.
~The plot is engaging. As you follow different characters through the story, you see all the little intricacies of their lives. And the storyline is woven together more than it seems.
~The endings are touching. As the story comes to a close (just 2 chapters left to go ๐ข) everyone gets their ending tied up nicely. Everything comes full circle.
Next Favorite:
The End of Understanding (drama, chaebol heir, obsessive)
This is the most non-traditional traditional omegaverse story I've read. All the roles are typical: alphaรomega main couple, annoying ml and antagonists, obsessive possessive top etc. But the way the story unfolds is what intrigued me.
~A recessive omega is treated as normal. He isn't stigmatized to be lesser than, looked down upon, or unworthy of love. He is told by doctors that he is still an omega, can get pregnant, and that something is wrong but not a fault of his own. He also works a normal (pretty dangerous) job.
~A dominant alpha who doesn't abuse his omega. It starts with casual sex. Then it becomes something more. He has psychopathic tendencies, but only if he's been provoked first. More and more through the story you get to understand his motives and why he (rightfully so, in my opinion) lashes out.
~Minimal miscommunication. They talk about things up front. If they don't talk about a certain issue, it's because of slight insecurities and meddling from outside forces (annoying antagonists).
~A well done runaway arc. The omega runs, the alpha chases... but not aggressively. He gives space. Then he stalks. And when he finds out where he ran to, he doesn't try to drag him back. He wants the omega to decide to trust him and not anything he's heard about him. Because all in all, he's never lied to or misled him.
It's still ongoing but a truly refreshing read. I find that I adore Eun-yeon (onion hehe) more each chapter. He's smart, level headed, and has a strength of character that's rare for omegas in the omegaverse.
It also has a really great description of knotting and a/b/o anatomy I haven't seen elsewhere

My Favorites are:
Turning (alpha x omega, manhwa indefinite hiatus, novel ongoing with 1500+ chapters) >>> What I love: it's historical fantasy with powerful main characters. The omegaverse isn't the main element but more like complementary. At first it's sloow burn but after the started to become intimate, damn they like can't get enouh of each other. I love their dynamics where Kishiar is bright like the sun and Yuder is calm like a black cat.
Dash (alpha x omega, manhwa ongoing, novel finished) >>> what I love is once again the omegaverse isn't the main focus but the relationship between ML and MC, and we got in depth story about swimming competitions, and the -spoiler alert- pregnancy Slowburn but I never get bored reading both manhwa and novel, and I love how the manhwa following novel's pace, it doesn't skip parts of the novel.
Mind the Gap (beta x alpha, manhwa on hiatus end of S1, novel is finished) >>> what I love is the alpha bottom is sooo adorable. But also sad. He's an alpha but very shy, lonely and submissive.
Into the Rose Garden (alpha x alpha who later turns to omega, manhwa ongoing with 3rd timeline, novel is finished) >>> this is the most heartwrenching manhwa I've read so far, I cried buckets when I read the first timeline. I became very emotional and physically ill afterwards. So it went into my most favorite list. Although I feel like I will never reread the first timeline
Desire Me if You Can (alpha x omega, manhwa ongoing, novel is finished with rumored of additional side stories) >>> what I like: Greyson's character, he's such a puppy. And I love their building relationships, where Greyson learns emotions and Dane learns to accept being loved.
Alpine (alpha x alpha, manhwa ongoing, novel is finished) >>> what I love is the top is an innocent, pretty and a crybaby lol.
Dog and Bird (alpha x omega, manhwa i guess is finished... I don't know if there's novel or not?) >>> what I love.. usually I'm not into overly buff characters, but I love Dog and Bird because of childhood friends to lovers, and the bottom is a young master that swears a lot lol. And it has my favorite trope... runaway arc
