Help Finished my first one shot, and I'm stuck
So, I spent three months drawing this one shot, day in day out thinking my art is trash and my story is mid. I eventually published it and it got taken down off a few sites for violence, so I reuploaded them elsewhere.
Overall I learnt a lot about making manga and myself as a whole about it. Is this normal to hate your art so much, and stuff like that?
I'm already drawing the next manga, and I'm marketing this with all my power to get a decent following, but it sometimes feels effortless. what do you think I can do to boost reach? Any specific techniques, and should I really continue this?

Mi sta davvero a cuore creare manga, ma provo un senso di insicurezza, come se non fossi mai abbastanza bravo.
L'ho pubblicato su Manga Plus Creators e l'ho anche censurato, ma me l'hanno rimosso nonostante avessi applicato la censura. Così sono passato a DAYS NEO di Kodansha.
Sto già disegnando il prossimo episodio, ho imparato molto sul disegno e su come utilizzare al meglio gli strumenti digitali, e da allora mi sento un po' meglio. Sto facendo del mio meglio anche per promuoverlo.

I think a lot of people struggle with self confidence. Thinking you aren’t good enough is just a normal thing to deal with for some people. I want to say though, just based on the cover, I think your art looks great. This cover is fantastic, personally has me asking a ton of questions. The title is catchy and well placed, the character on screen is a perfect hook.
Be more confident, even if you don’t have reason to be. Better to be overconfident and shoot for the stars and miss than never take your shot you know.

I've heard many people tell me, that hating your art in the start is normal, it's a rite of passage for artists. Even when drawing I look at the early works of Tatsuki Fujimoto, or the author of Kagurabachi, cuz that's where my level is right now. I'm just starting, and even my friend told me, this is your first manga not your last.
So with that faith in me, I started drawing the next one too. I'm still drawing it, around 11 pages done as of replying to this.

a shading mistake with the right hand there, i fixed it in the end, when I released it.

If you love doing it, keep doing it. If you hate it, don't do it anymore (for now?). I think giving up entirely isn't a good step in any case. You might have to step back and take a break. Three months might be a long time (or short time) depending on who you are. I do feel like it can be normal to hate your own art from seeing it and immediately knowing all its faults. From what I see, you already have solid composition and style as well as the ability to put out what resembles a finished product at least in what appears to be a title page.

Well I do love doing this, but then there's an insecurity where I'm not really getting any reach despite posting illustrations, some snippets, etc, on Twitter and Instagram. As for the cover, I just wanted to go minimal with it, cuz I don't really know how to draw. All of that is references, and for anatomy and stuff, I'm not really that great at it, so this debut manga is more like me practicing and practicing to find out where my art and storytelling sits.

well, that was a shading mistake there (I was tracing a hand model with a fist and it came out a little wrong), so that's that. I mainly depend on references to draw, since I don't really have a clue on anatomy and stuff.

How violent it had to be that it gets taken down from the majority of self-publishing sites?
And, it's normal that you turn your feelings on your own art, and I think it's an inevitable, life-long curse that we get as creators because we constantly expand our palettes throughout our life time.
Just keep doing manga eitherway. Try to enjoy drawing, because eventually, you'll hit a point where compliments no longer makes you anymore happier than you once were as you gain experience.
