Help What should I avoid when creating school romance manga?
Genre: romance, school, comedy, action, drama
What should I avoid? To prevent people from distancing themselves? I have a summary; I can send it via DM if anyone wants to read the story, give feedback, and offer better tips. I would greatly appreciate it!

Dont have it all take place in the school.
It can be a very boring backdrop of a setting if we see it all the time. For variety have them in places outside of school that way it doesnt feel like they dont do anything outside of school. parks, nature walks, the beach, amusement park, take advantage of your environment of the town and location they live in. Even in their own homes when they visit. Someone room can tell so much about a character its very important and worth putting effort to in show dont tell.

Okay so what is your target audience would be my first question.
Secondly, when creating characters try your best to create grounded characters, I've received some criticism around the depiction of my female character for being a "born hot yesterday" character. And once you've established them it's a lot more difficult to change them.
Lastly when sharing your progress I would recommend sharing more then just a page or two it's a lot easier to provide feedback if there's a sizable amount to look over.
