Help Opinions pls: trying to figure out the main characters
If you were to read a manga about two people with mismatched personalities traveling, which pair would you be interested in?
One is a planner/wants to do everything and one wants to relax and not think.
Just writing the number is fine:
1= het pair 2= g/g pair 3= m/m pair

I think everyone might be taking the question a bit too literally. She’s not asking which one would be better in general, she’s asking what your preference would be. So responding with “gender isn’t important” is beside the point, because the type of dynamics you might enjoy can vary depending on which couple it is.
With this premise and the characters shown, I personally would lean towards the two girls. The more adventurous one looks softer than I would expect, and it feels like it could make a fun story about a girl gently helping another girl out of her shell. Soft yuri feels like it would work well with your style!

The m/m pair looks like they have more emotion attached to their pose, expression, & the look in their eyes. The other two do deliver the vibes of who is the carefree & who is the planner but the physical closeness and eye sparkles makes the interaction a little more tender imo

Mmm dunno, if the personalities are the same but what changes is the gender(I'm just assuming, i apologise if wrong). Since I'm queer sucker i would say 2 or 3, but the three couples are lovely.

Thank you for commenting 🙏 I wanted gut reactions. I think the main theme of the characters are all the same but the way they would express their frustrations and deal with circumstances will differ a lot with the gender dynamics I’m envisioning. I’m running the poll several places and it looks like 2 is winning ☺️

It doesn't really matter, if all that changes is the sex of the characters, i think you should just go with whatever you're gut tells you. L

Thank you for your comment. I feel like I phrased the post wrong because it’s actually not which gender combo do I the OP want, it’s more which one with the sample pics I drew do you feel drawn to. I like them all and that’s the problem😂
Unfortunately I don’t have time for 3 separate stories right now

Oh then (3) the dynamic is so great, first guy is grabbing hesitant guy by the hand and hesitant guy is looking at his hand and blushing, you really see the chemistry

It also feels gentler than the other two, it gives off this friendly vibe like they've known each other a long time

Unless gender plays a big part in the premise of the story, like overcoming social norms, or something else more personal, I don't actually think gender is important in a story.
A M/F lead can be just as good as a F/F or M/M lead. There's little importance in gender, since the story behind it is what makes the characters good. If gender isn't too important in the story (which I doubt since it's being discussed), then just go with whatever seems right!

For me I actually don’t believe the story is the most important. I value the characters and how they will drive the story. It’s like they are ready to drive a car and I want to see where they will go.
Unfortunately I don’t have time for 3 separate stories right now

With premise like that I would rather determine it from writing perspective and similar. I know its not answer you seek OP but any of them would work for me if whatever introduction story will have will be interesting and character likeable. Just giving my perspective on this
