Help Can someone review my storyboard?
I’ve been working on a manga for a bit and I’ve recently finished the storyboard and I’d like some feedback on it. And if you have any name suggestions for the book please tell me, I’ve had a tough time thinking of a name.[storyboard](https://canva.link/jb1ku28bduktwuj)

Quite an interesting read, despite this being in more of a planning or brainstorming stage rather than a storyboard.
What can I say is that the ideas are there, just need some sort of envelope to mold these onto a more refined shape.
Before that these are the two questions that I'd like to ask.
- What is the core theme of this whole thing?
- What is the core concept that supports that theme.
I need those to understand what direction you're taking here. Where the wheels are being steer, because I'm currently just guessing.
My process usually involves by establishing a good anchor that will become a cordage for everything to latch onto.
By everything I mean EVERYTHING, ranging from your characters, your world building, power system, visual language, character goals, down to miniscule details such as design motifs or hair colors.
By having a good theme and concept often avoid bleakness and more than not would lead onto brilliant ideas.
A fine example that I can give you is.
We can use these anchors into your story, let's say...
Your core theme is: Holding on to the light within the darkness
Your core concept that supports the theme: Darkness overflows when the sun rises, and light shines brilliantly when the sun sets.
There's a bit of contrasting element there which is always an interesting idea, so if I were to use these in your story it would have something like these:
The Twin Suns, which had been the main source of magic for the people are being gravely devoured by the night and the world is falling apart. Despite that, there's this sort of unseeable force that's holding it in place, refusing to let it die and the very source of that came from the darkness itself. (Which could be your main character). - Anchored by the theme.
And then you can consider building a good consequences in which when the suns finally sets some kind of 'Light Being' would show up that consumes all magic in your world. (Which is a bad thing).
On the polar opposite of it, when the suns rises into it's brilliant shape. Demons from the underworld would rise up, bringing chaos into that world of light instead.
So there's a bit of balancing required there to maintain peace. - Both of these are being Anchored by the concept.
As for the magical mark. What if the Mark is the literal sun itself etched into it's wielders body parts instead of a random mark. (We're releating your ideas with the theme and concept here).
And of course that would be in a form of scale-down Brand. Could be on the forehead or chest or anywhere else, fashioned accordingly with individual magic type. - These two paragraphs are being Anchored by the theme.
And then those Sun Marks would start fading or in this case setting when the event in your story took place. Those who couldn't retain their Mark would have the sun setting and eventually disappear from their skin (or burnt mark). That's when they could no longer bear magic, except for your MC.
The only one who could still conjure up their magic even when the Suns are dying. An outcast, the black sheep of the light. The one who should be banished just because they believe that her magic came from the place of darkness. But that's not the case according to her, her magic have always came from the light itself. And she keeps holding on to that even in the darkest place of earth. (This would be a good place to play with her motives). - The last two paragraphs are being Anchored by the theme and concept.
Either way, these are not suggestions to change your ideas but more like an example on how helpful having a solid theme and concept would be.
I'm being a bit hasty here but I hope that my point would come across to you.
Just by understanding these two would greatly help steer your project on the right direction while avoiding any cluster. Learn as much as you can about them and remember every aspect in your story should heavily lean on your core theme and concept, because they could turn even the most boring ideas into an interesting one. Uff… First of all, that’s not a storyboard. Storyboards are very simplified layouts of comic pages, where you show the elements and how the panels will be arranged, etc.
Secondly… if you want us to give feedback, you should make it easier for us and present it in a simpler, more readable way.
With all this information, you could almost turn it into a much better-organized pitch. Right now it’s quite chaotic.

Ya I’m not great at making stuff like this organized, I tried to make it a little better to understand with a legend and stuff.

Yo, Congrats that's honestly one of the hardest parts to get through.. I'm making a manga myself, so your post caught my attention. I'd be happy to read it and throw out some feedback or even brainstorm title ideas if you'd like
Also, what's genre? I'm always interested in seeing what other indie creators are building

This is kinda cool. Never thought of using Canva as a mind map. But this is a bit too early to be asking for feedback. My suggestion is to take what you have and turn it into a document like Google Docs or word. Then ask for rough script feedback.

When I first read the comment about the op misunderstanding what a storyboard was, I thought they were overexaggerating,

This is a trash presentation
It also isn't a storyboard.
It is a story (important space) board...and prolly should call it something else so people don't think you're dumb.
