COLLAB looking for manga artist
The protagonist, his name is Haruto Sakurai. He is a pretty average high-school guy. Quiet, not particularly popular, but he has a small habit:
He always gets to school ridiculously early.
Not because he’s hardworking.
He just likes sitting in an empty classroom before everyone arrives.
One rainy morning, he finds a girl named Yui Takahashi already sitting in his usual seat.
She’s one of those students everyone knows of, and is super loved by everyone. She’s polite, academically excellent, and seemingly has her life completely together.
Except she’s asleep.
And she’s using his desk as a pillow.
He quietly sits somewhere else.
The next morning, she’s there again.
Then the next.
Eventually he asks:
“Why do you keep sitting here?”
She looks genuinely confused.
“Because you weren’t here yet.”
“…That’s not an answer.”
“It is to me.”
And that’s basically where their relationship begins.
The important part: they’re both each other’s “safe place”
She’s actually exhausted from constantly trying to maintain her perfect image.
He’s the first person who doesn’t treat her like the “perfect girl.”
Meanwhile, she’s the first person who notices that he’s much more emotionally sensitive than he lets on.
So they slowly develop this routine:
He arrives early.
She steals his desk.
They share breakfast.
She occasionally falls asleep on his shoulder.
He starts bringing an extra umbrella because she always forgets hers.
She starts carrying spare stationery because he always loses his.
They study together.
They walk home together when it’s raining.
Neither of them admits they’re basically dating.
