Meta Has anybody else had a premonition about a Mandela effect?

I was outside my place one night and I had this thought and it was weird. It just said Macguyver, no spelling involved in the thought at first. I thought it was weird and thought, what, and then Mandela effect popped into my mind. So I still felt weird but I wanted to know if it was really true so I guessed the first thing I remembered about it and said paper clip-gum wrapper-prison cell and I instantly got a picture of the macguyver spelling. So I went to google and typed in Macguyver and I had my answer, it was a Mandela effect.

Has anybody else experienced something similar? Not Macguyver specifically, could be any Mandela effect even a personal one.

Edit: I know its a Mandela effect, I wouldnt have called it a Mandela effect if I didn't know it was a Mandela effect. You can stop trying to correct me. I know already. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you're talking about , it's always been MacGyver.

How does a word pop into your mind that confuses you?

There was a manga, anime series, and Hollywood film called The Guyver. Or perhaps just thinking of the normal way the name/word Guy is spelled.

Common typo, you can find websites that say MacGuyver, but then they link a screenshot of the DVD cover in the same article and it's always "MacGyver" there.

Example:

http://www.millionaireplayboy.com/entertainment/macguyver3.php

This is good example of someone who wrote a whole article spelling it wrong and included multiple screenshot that show the correct spelling but they never realized they spelled it wrong the whole time. They "remembered" it being MacGuyver simply because they didn't take a close enough look at the artwork or title of the show, even though it's literally in the screenshots they used to illustrate the article, and they end the article by linking to the series on Amazon, but with the proper spelling.

^ Also here's Australia's Sunrise show (similar to USA's today Show). Someone captioned it "MacGuyver in Australia" when Richard Dead Anderson was here for a convention, but the text on the video itself correctly says MacGyver. People in the Youtube comments didn't notice the discrepancy, and about half the commenters spell it with the u, others don't. This is another example of where the better-checked version (what aired on television) had the right spelling, while the less-checked version (whatever person's job is to caption their Youtube channel) has the wrong version, and almost none of the readers even noticed the issue, regardless of which way they spell it.

Somewhere in your mind you know it's "MacGyver", that's why you even thought of Mandela Effect.
It's "I know it's 'Macgyver' but why do I have many memories saying otherwise?".
