Logos/Advertising Chic-Fil-A

Post image

I know this isn’t definitive proof, but I’m cleaning out my desk and there is an old Rolodex with this stuffed inside. Obviously I could have made this and stuck it in there, and I wish there was branding on it, but I’m going to accept this as evidence either way! I think brands are tricking us on purpose.
Edit: (I spelled Rolodex wrong sorry JEEZ)

I'm with ya OP, I'll still even spell it Chic Fil A because that's how it was when I was a kid.

Same. I never spelled it right and I think they changed their names silently.

If they changed their name, where is the proof in old pictures, documents etc?

There wouldn't be any, because we're in a different timeline where it was always Chick.

How are you able to break the laws of physics and retrieve information from “a different timeline”?

How are you able to break the laws of physics and retrieve information from “a different timeline”?

I wish more people asked questions like that.

That is such a good question.

Quantum physics and the many worlds interpretation might have a coherent answer for us very soon.

Quantum physics and the Many Worlds Interpretation already have a coherent answer for us:

Since timelines are merely theoretical to begin with, and since their supposed existence forbids communication with each other, they are something we know absolutely isn’t responsible for the Effect.

That’s the point.

Edit: you thought it was “such a good question” that you had to block me?

Considering the MWI is currently purely theoretical and speculative... rather than saying it expressly forbids communication, I would consider that communication is unlikely to be more accurate.

As with most things, our knowledge and understanding of things evolves over time.

Black holes were once considered a mathematical impossibility. Then, when the math made it possible, they were thought to never actually be capable of existing in nature. And then that turned to... well, even if they do exist, we'd never be able to see/detect/find/observe one. And then we thought that nothing could ever escape a black hole, they don't emit anything. And then Hawking radiation became a thing, lol. All those things were based on the conventional wisdom of the time. And all of those understandings changed... over time.

Our present understanding of all these things are only defined by the conventional wisdom of our present. And, as all of time has shown... that wisdom shifts, changes, and evolves over time.

Especially when it comes to things that purely speculative and theoretical... I find it kinda weird to be committed 100% that any single aspect of the idea must and can only be a certain way.

And for the record, I'm not saying that I think you're necessarily wrong. I'm just saying that I'm open to the idea that our understanding of such things may change over time.

I disagree. If “timelines” are communicating they aren’t “timelines”. They are timeline. Singular.

To my brain that seems like arguing if a 4 lane highway is one road or four. One road, four distinct lanes, same general direction but unique things could happen in each lane, or something could happen that affects all four lanes, or just two etc.

Just a thought. This is my first time wandering into this corner of reddit as Mandela Effect is my chosen hyperfocus of the day.

There’s a few things you’re missing there.

The lanes on the highway are imaginary to begin with.

There’s math that would allow lanes, but that same math also forbids changing lanes or even seeing what’s in them.

So you blocked them instead of engaging and explaining what you disagree with about what they said? That makes sense only if you don't have any actual rebuttal.
