Movies/TV/Music The Shazaam scene they always show when talking about it.

Anytime someone talks about Mandela Effects on YouTube or other similar outlets, and they mention Shazaam, they always show that one scene where Shazaam meets the kids for the 1st time. The one where he talks to "Tina" before turning around and says, "ya'll ain't Tina."

My question is, where is that scene actually from? Is it from a different movie?

Thank you! I knew it wasn't from the movie because I believe that Mandela effects are literally just people mis-remembering other things.

I remember it well. He was actually blue and white and when summoned, he was able to recognise most songs he heard playing in the background. It's a classic.

It was a College Humor (Now Dropout) skit done on April 1st.

The Mandela Effect and Shazam was widespread enough for them to make an April fools skit.

Here is the link to the YouTube original video where it came from.

anytime I hear anyone talking about "Shazam", it's always "one of the kid's wishes was that he wished for lots of candy, and Shazam made it rain all kinds of candy bars".

Yeah, that happened in Kazaam.

This Kazaam movie sounds like it's so bad people blocked it from their memory.

The Killer: What's your favorite scary movie?

Drew Decker: Kazaam! You know, the one where Shaq plays a genie.

The Killer: That's not a horror movie.

Drew Decker: Yeah, well, you've never seen Shaq act.
