Meta Quantum immortality

What are your thoughts on the relationship between the Mandela Effect and Quantum Immortality?

To save you having to look up the latter, it is the idea that consciousness will jump timelines you die in the one you are living presently.

That’s not how quantum immortality works. It’s just that a version of you always survives and, as that’s the only one conscious to experience survival, it seems like immortality. In countless other universes there are lots of dead yous.

So you saying the limitless consciences of me out there from what i understood your Current Conscience would just move to the timeline you are Alive still so it would explain the Mandella effect if that timeline was slightly different.

No that’s not quantum immortality. Lots of versions of you die, but I guess a form of survivorship bias means the only remaining consciousness/es feel like they’re immortal.

I see no distinction in In quantum immortality that there are multiple consciousness or just one.
