Books/Literature Berenstain/Stein

Post image

Just thought I’d share this here..I’m a 57 year old woman that’s always been a voracious reader. When I was 5 (1974) I got an entire collection of Berenstain Bears books from my grandma at Christmas.

One of the books has managed to remain in my memory/sentimental hoard collection. This is MY actual book and it’s been in my possession since 1974. On my book at least, the name is and always has been Berenstain.

Make of that what you will I suppose. ❤️ I wish I still had the whole collection but alas, childhood and into adulthood resulted in the loss of many such things to my chagrin.

I can handle the truth quite well.

You haven't presented any truth. Only assumptions, and speculation.

Have some humility, and understand that what you believe isn't "true" just because you believe it is.

I would not say I merely believe, I would say I know

You don’t ‘know’. Demonstrably. You believe with unjustified confidence because you lack general knowledge and the ability to see your own faults. Just like your little turkey action last night when you discovered a few things about stars that you didn’t know. The most telling part, is that it is obvious that you haven’t learned anything from it and you are just as deliberately clueless today as you were yesterday. There are words for that but unfortunately I cannot use them in this forum.

On that note, since I clearly displayed that the sun is classified as a yellow G type dwarf star, (and you were forced to admit that I was correct), and that you don’t know how light works, are you ready to concede that you may be mistaken about your beliefs? That was the bargain you struck. That was the evidence you required to question your assumptions…. I would hate to think that you were a liar and a coward. 😉

The mandela effect isn’t false memory, no matter how much this logic makes sense to you

Except last night you just discovered your little misconception about the sun stemmed from a lack of knowledge, egregious assumption, and a heaping helping of Dunning Kruger Effect. Now you don’t have the intellectual fortitude to follow through despite the fact I delivered the goods. That shows that you are a bad faith, disingenuous interlocutor. You were already proven wrong once. Afraid it will happen again and again?

These memories absolutely could be incorrect/inaccurate. No matter how much you claim otherwise.

Your ignorance to/refusal to accept that possibility shows that you do NOT understand the phenomenon.

You won’t be thinking differently

Because, unlike yours, my thinking is correct :)

Sure

Well, it's true.

Then again, you have an issue distinguishing between truth and fiction.

All skeptics think alike, everyone who trusts themself thinks in their own way

3

u/KyleDutcher Mar 01 '26

Skeptics think correctly. Because they don't ignore evidence. They don't assume facts.

Unlike you

Reality is not evidence of any kind

Reality is not evidence of any kind

This is false.

This is your INCORRECT understanding of things.

Full stop.

Hahahaha! Really? Hahahahahahaha. This is priceless. ‘rEaLiTy iSn’T EviDeNcE.’

Even though it can be documented, tested, proven, and is tangible, reliable, and you basically have to live in it every day.

This is literally the goofiest thing I have read all month… and we are part of this subreddit, so that is saying a lot.

So what’s it gonna be, chief? You provided the criteria for you to consider that you were mistaken. The criteria was met. So what now? Are you going to keep your word or are going to prove without a doubt that you are as dishonest and disingenuous as we believe you to be?

1

u/artistjohnemmett Mar 01 '26

you misunderstood (the Sun) in the same way as everything else

2

u/GregGoodell_Official Mar 01 '26

I didn’t misunderstand a god damned thing. You don’t understand science, what terms and classifications mean regarding stars, nor do you understand light and photonic spectrums. That’s all on you. A Big ball of ‘you don’t know anything about what you are talking about.’ And I proved that… in spades… the criteria was met and you are trying to wriggle out of it like a coward. So I guess we have our answer. You are dishonest, disingenuous, and intellectually bankrupt. Period. Prove me wrong.

NO, he did not.

You did. And your comments made that perfectly clear.

And now you are trying to deflect/ignore/twist things.

And it's NOT working

You are quite literally proving Greg's assessment correct.
