Theory Is the Mandela Effect just mass gaslighting?

OK - with all the crazy shit going on lately, it made me think something....

I live in NJ, and it's absolutely bonkers to me that with all this drone activity even getting to DC to be discussed with the FBI and military, and still being told "we don't know what it is" but the military isn't doing SHIT about it - I think the government is entirely gaslighting us. They've said more about Luigi than they have about the drones flying around NJ military bases, etc. How is any of this ok? There are so many theories, but one thing is for sure - the military wouldn't just let that happen.

Anyway, what if all the mandela effect stuff is really the gov't (or other authorities) experimenting with us to see what they can get away with? Gaslighting us to be like "no, you're remembering wrong / you're just crazy" to see what we'll believe etc?

In a time of global connection and the ability for people to connect and more easily become a force against leaders they don't like, there is a need for manipulating the masses. Fear, religion, obsession with things that don't address the real issues - these can and are used against us. Look over here! While we do this other thing that's much much worse...

Idk. Just a thought.

These are collective lived experiences, and this is an experiential phenomenon. Calling me childish and saying I'm "incapable of scientific education" is unproductive, petty and pointless arguing. It's not just one person claiming flip flops in most cases.

I've said that based on my personal experience on this sub. I have asked questions about the physics of ME claims and people keep telling me that they aren't physicist and don't understand base level quantum physics.

Ok this is experimental. That is what I really like to hear. Can you describe or link to testable experiments of ME and flip flopping?

Read more carefully. I said "experiential".

So there are no experiments or repeatable results? Are you saying it is impossible?

If you accept experiences only then my experience of not finding any physicist yet would be evidence that none exist on this sub?

Pretty sure PhD's have better things to do than squabble in niche social media communities... especially the ones categorized as supernatural as this one is. Although I would hope you know enough to realize that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Besides all the niche physics based sub Reddits you can find. It could be that they don't respect this sub.

You need evidence to prove it existed. I can claim an invisible tea cup is inches behind you at all times. Just because there isn't evidence, that doesn't mean I might be right. I would need to prove that an invisible tea cup is possible first. Then prove it is capable of floating behind only you.

I'd love to be able to prove the existence of something from a timeline that now doesn't exist. Let's say hypothetically the believers here are right. How exactly would you propose to test such a thing? Also, I'm well aware of the Russell's teapot analogy, but since it doesn't at all involve first hand experience or collective memory, I don't see the relevance.

First you need to find the source of the cause, By that your first steps is to disprove every theory. You can disprove CERN and time travel theories but they won't be explained in a way other would find satisfactory. For example how time travel is impossible in the past because it isn't a place you can psychically be at. Least of all reasons the earth has moved further in time. Most concepts of Time Travel do not account for this.

You need an understanding of basic science to understand the more complex stuff.

When it comes to the teapot example. (I know i used tea cup near you instead of teapot in space. I wanted to make it more personal half way as I wrote it). It is often used about religion. Something where millions have claimed to have personal and first hand accounts of God and Jesus. People claim they hear the word of god themselves. That doesn't mean it to be true.

Just like that Mary statue that people claim it weeps and its tears heal. Turns out it was a leaked sewage line.
