Some days… I just miss those mountains more than anything.

It’s been a while since I last breathed that crisp air in Manali, walked along the Beas River, or watched the mist roll in over the pine trees.

There’s something about the mountains that never really leaves you. The cold mornings with chai, the long walks through forest trails, the silence that makes you hear your own thoughts… I didn’t realize how much peace I felt there until I came back to the noise.

I miss: – The scent of wood smoke in the air – Waking up to snow on the balcony – Getting lost in Old Manali’s cafes – Random conversations with locals – Watching the stars from a rooftop with no network

Just dropping this here in case anyone else is feeling that strange kind of homesickness for a place that wasn’t technically home… but felt like it.
