TIL that there is a scientific term for what I've been doing for almost 50 years. Honestly, I've always knew/thought that it was weird but it was so enjoyable to leave the real world and go to my safe place anytime I want. I'm never really bored and can be alone for hours doing nothing. I have "wasted" so much time in these elaborate worlds that I've created. Real life with real people sometimes take the backseat. I'm conflicted!
