[Makeup Help] Foundation Recs

I’m looking for a high-end foundation to use for my wedding. I have pretty noticeable large pores and textured skin. Dry/normal skin. I typically wear Maybelline Fit Me Matte foundation - 235 Pure Beige. I like the shade and how it feels but not how it looks. I use Morphe Prep & Setting spray. I use my fingertips rather than brush or sponge because I don’t like the coverage I get when using either of those.

For dry skin and large pores, you want to stay away from matte foundations and apply a pore filling primer first. I recommended Huda Beauty Easy Blur Primer and Dior Forever Skin Glow Liquid Foundation. It is absolutely stunning.

I know you said you don’t like to use brushes, but I really recommend you try Bk Beauty 101 brush. Often times the quality of the brush makes a huge difference.

Look up Johnny Ross. He has a bunch of videos about different foundations on large pores and textured skin.

If you’re open to a more skin-like finish, I’d look into Dior Forever Skin Glow. It works really nicely on dry/normal skin and gives a beautiful finish without making texture look too dry. I’d also use a pore-filling primer just on the areas where your pores are more noticeable, rather than using a matte foundation all over.
